I absolutely love both the actors and the story. The story was a sweet and a happy one. A much needed break from the old mold of "being gay = angst, unhappiness, (self-)torture, pain, and drama." In particular, I am delighted to see a happy gaysian couple, especially considering that many Asian cultures are pretty socially conservative.

WOW, this is really good, from the lighting, camera angels, shot designs, cuts, sound, music, and the acting and phrasing subtleties are just right - very natural, authentic, not under or over stated.....just right! Seems like a full on bl production to me! My favs are Semantic Error (more than 10 times) UWMA, Cherry Blossom After Winter (more than 10 times) the kiss scene in this Pure Vanillia short is just just right in delivery, hesitancy, nervous tenderness, and in body language and in eye communication....... "say something" line and kiss response.....really perfect!!. And this looks to be right up there....with the big bls to me!!👏💖👍 liked subscribed & belled.🌟 Just watched PV 3 times.....Congratulations and best wishes for more artistic fulfillment!! 💕

Ok I came here after I stumbled upon the sequel Pure Vanilla, Recipe for Romance. Why are these short films giving 1000% more entertainment than 12 ep bls? This is how stories should be told. No unnecessary drama and subplots. I love it, hope there's a part 3 soon 🤞

What an engaging short film! The 9 minutes just disappeared and left me wanting more of this story and these characters. The actors looked comfortable with each other, and the hesitancy of both characters could be felt followed by the release of pent-up tension at the end. The acting, editing, music, and cinematography were all well done. This is a lovely watch. The shots are amazing and the actors fit the role very well. The only downside I felt was that the actors' voices were very monotone and their expressions also lacked that spark that make it feel real. The dialogue is really good so there should be no issue for the actors to deliver the lines more naturally once they get more experience!

Beautifully done. So simple, so sweet, and so adorable. Love the story concept as well. Sweets for valentine's day for a sweet couple. There's always that moment when one must confess to the other. "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" I mean, my first reaction would have been, "yeah" but then I'd think to myself "what if we aren't thinking the same?" I mean, how do you really answer that question without risking, without hurting him? I love that he kissed him after asking the question. But that hesitation while he waited for a response? Like, "oh no, did I misread the situation?" Heart stopping. Not drawn out, though, just enough to panic and say "Say something".
