Another way to connect Superman with Waller would be the ending of peacemaker although he didn’t have any lines his silhouette was still present and if I’m not mistaken it was Waller who called the justice league for back up at the end of peacemaker

It wasn't just a silhouette, it was him. Shazam! did the same thing, but had all kinds of real-world artifacts showing it's in the same canon as BVS & such (which is the DCEU). Just cuz Cavill wasn't the actor portraying the character in Shazam! or Peacemaker, doesn't mean it was a diff Superman. Peacemaker is a spin-off of The Suicide Squad, which is a sequel to Suicide Squad which exists in the DCEU created by MOS & BVS. There's only one Superman in the DCEU lmao; the Superman in Shazam! & Peacemaker is the same exact Superman who revealed himself to the world in MOS, died in BVS, came back in JL, & then told Black Adam to simmer down in the Black Adam movie lol I swear, the number of ppl saying certain DCEU projects are actually not DCEU canon cuz the films don't beat you over the head with interconnectivity like the MCU does, is so damn annoying, & homies need to stop listening to these f^cking morons like Screen Crush who are puking this nonsense just cuz BVS hurt their feelings or some sh^t *six* years ago & they won't move on (even tho Suicide Squad is way worse & BVS got redeemed with the far-superior director's cut).

I'm usually one of those ppl, but I thought the use of the Williams motif was surprisingly-effective Besides, Reeve Superman had the two motifs, & Batfleck had two diff musical motifs in BVS, so Superman having two motifs, as well, would be good, & him having both a Williams & Zimmer motif would be super interesting & fun. What bugged me is that he had the MOS suit instead of the BVS-style post-JL suit. Cyclone, my goodness that actress was gorgeous. Her power's we're done well on screen and she benefitted the most from slow motion. Saw it last night and the action alone is worth the ticket. Thought the ending could have been better and left us movie goers a little "eh" but otherwise, it was great to see the Rock and Mo Amer together on screen. The mom and kid, and my fav Pierce Brosnan were also fantastic.

I just got back from seeing it, the visuals were amazing, but the story had me confused at some points. I got behind the first two acts, it was until the third act where I was questions things. The origin plot twist took me by surprise, I really thought Hawkman was actually going to die since the film told us that he would, I genuinely didn't expect Doctor Fate to die since he's so op in the comics. I also really felt going into the theater that the film would take place in Earth 2 because the Justice Society takes place *before* the Justice League and why Superman looks a little different. I thought this because it's heavily implied in The Flash that he'll go to another universe, and I assumed the DCEU would just follow that storyline going forward.

My biggest personal problems with Black Adam are: I was just disappointed they made Black Adam borderline hero/anti hero rather than taking a more darker path and descending into anti hero/villainy. It could have been another villain follow up film from Joker. I also wish we saw more stuff from Sabaac. I didnt care if he had a motive, I wanted to take him more seriously. Any of the secondary Kandaq dictators/antagonists were bland/forgettable imo. Editing needs work. Less on the side/secondary/human characters, more on the characters we want to see imho.

I've read a lot of the critics comments and the few negative ones from audiences. They make no sense because they critise it for not being something that anyone who's ever seen a Rock movie wouldn't go in expecting. Biggest critisms are a simply plot with limited character development and back story and Dr Fate was "underused" It had the level of plot and character depth I'd expect from any movie staring the Rock. The characters I'd expect to have a detailed back story to in a movie only 2 hours long called Black Adam had it (i.e Black Adam did) Dr fate got more used in this film than in the 1990s Johns Goyer JSA run and the 99 to 2011 Johns- Guggenheim run combined. Just how much did they expect an OP character to be utilised in a team setting???

I liked it and I'm looking forward to future projects. I was glad to see a couple people who were in Supernatural episodes and several characters that were in Smallville. It was nice to see Superman and hear John Williams' song.

This a common thing in superhero stuff… but Amanda Waller say in SS “Superman was a beacon for them to return back from the shadows” and given how much power she holds… probably told them to hold off - and let the government handle it.. cos if every situation gets handed off to superheroes the US government would look weak af.. but most of that’s just theory.
