This song is about the medical experiments performed in the nazi concentration camps during ww2. The line "to benefit the aryan race" simply refers to the overall goal of these experiments (and nazism in general). So no this isnt an endorsement of that stuff or anything, just a song about the holocaust. The singer is a Hispanic so wouldnt work out too well if it was lol.

\m/ Glad you reacted to this, guys. The song, as @imaplatypus 007 stated, is about the atrocities that Josef Mengele did at Auschwitz to the Jews. Slayer doesn't get enough credit for reminding people of the past and gets criticized because it is hard and heavy and telling the story, yet The History Channel gets praised for talking about the same thing. The very first word in the song is " Auschwitz". Find a vid with the lyrics and you will be reminded of history and see what they are singing about. Awesome reaction. I also had mentioned in the past to you that you need to hear it. You guys ROCK!!! Next one for Slayer needs to be either, Seasons in the Abyss or South of Heaven. \m/ =D

Slayer are not racist. They are just playing over-the-top music about crazy shit that happened in World War 2. At the time of the recording of Angel of Death and the album Reign in Blood (Angel of Death is the first track on Reign in Blood), two of the band members were Latino and two were White. Slayer are from Southern California. Keep listening, keep appreciating, keep learning, keep enjoying this music. It is the greatest music ever created. Metal is life. Metal is larger than life. Powerful. Colossal. Brutal. Brilliant. Genius. Slayer changed not only metal but music in general. They play their instruments with bone, blood, muscle, and soul. Jeff Hanneman and Kerry King shred on guitar. As a drummer, Slayer's drummer Dave Lombardo changed my life. And what is so amazing about metal, specifically extreme metal, is that this legendary cut was released on the album Reign in Blood in 1986...33 years ago from the time of this posting...that's a fuckin third of a century ago and it still sounds cutting edge and badass as fuck. If you listen to other forms of music from 1986 like rock, pop, r&b, rap, country, etc they sound like they are from 1986. But extreme metal (thrash metal, death metal, grindcore, goregrind, metalcore, deathcore, brutal death metal and slamcore, etc) sounds badass and cutting edge forever. They will play Slayer in fifty years, hundred years, or a thousand years from now, and it would still blow their lids back. This music is so passionate and real. Slayer creates masterpieces. I saw them live on the Reign in Blood tour in November 1986 at The Stone and they absolutely fuckin crushed. Slayer was like Godzilla with combat boots on stomping through downtown San Francisco. This music changes lives and saves lives. Please review the song Uterine Intercourse by the band Cryogenic Defilment. I provided the link below. 🤘 kzbin.info/www/bejne/gJPVZKZqrphgp6c

This song isn't about the devil, and these guys are not KKK or Nazis. The song is about infamous Nazi Dr. Mengele who used to perform human experiments on people in concentration camps during the holocaust. The line about the Aryan race is just part of the historical narrative of the song, it is not endorsing Aryans or nazism at all.

The song is about Josef Mengele, a WWII Nazi Surgeon in Auschwitz that performed horrific experiments on the Jews in the camps. He was known as the Angel of Death. And no, they aren't racist, nor are the Satanists. Their lead singer is both Latino and Catholic. The song does not glorify the events in WWII. It just describes it in a lyrical sense matched with horrifying music.

This is why this band to find an entire jonra. I listen in my car, and I have a BMW M4 that allows me to dial the sound in so that the music comes together explicitly in between the driver and passenger seats. The clarity in the aggression does tend to place one at a higher risk for a speeding ticket. And damn does it make driving fun.

When is the time to listen to this you ask? Well.. back in 1987 when I was working at a window factory, I listened to this cassette while eating lunch in my car. I also threw it in the boombox when going to sleep at night. The entire album is like 30 minutes long so I would pretty much be asleep by the time it ended. Nowadays, I listen to it at work if I am on a Slayer kick.. I normally start with Hell Awaits/Haunting The Chapel album, then move on to Reign In Blood.. then on to South of Heaven.. then on to Seasons In The Abyss. Gets me through about half a day of work lol. Peace

Slayer is primarily known as one of the satanic subject bands, especially because of their 1st 4 albums, this is off their 3rd album. This album was released in 1986 and this song is probably not only their most well known but the one that has been the cause of people hounding them for being pro nazi. The thing is critics didn't seem to notice 2 important parts of the lyrics "sickening ways to achieve the holocaust" and "rancid angel of death flying free" If they were such nazi supporters it would've something like "Needed ways to achieve the holocaust" and "awesome angel of death flying free". Their guitarist at the time who wrote the song died a few years back, he has written other songs for Slayer dealing with World War 2 and the nazis, none of them pro nazi, apparently his father or grandfather served in WW2 and brought home medals he picked off the bodies of dead German soldiers and gave them to him and that sparked his interest in the history of WW2 and the nazis. Some people say it's an unhealthy interest or obssession but just because you're interested in learning more about something-serial killers,KKK,HIV/AIDS,slavery or terrorism doesn't mean a person thinks such things are a good thing, they just want to learn about them to understand why such things happened, to understand human mindset that could lead to such things.
