A great one! You can also do it with tomato paste instead of coconut milk.

Is the coconut cream you are using coconut milk from a can? Or can I use that if not? The recipe looks so yummy.

Yes I use either can or carton coconut milk Both work - Thanks

This recipe is delicious!! I added a package of firm silken tofu for extra protein and served it with roasted spaghetti squash instead of rice/bread. YUMMY! Oh, and I didn't have any fresh cilantro on hand so I used 1/2 tsp of ground coriander instead:)
@Veena_Azmanov6 жыл бұрын
So happy to hear that Christie. Sounds like a perfect meal. There is so much you can do with this.. My kids eat it like soup in winter with crusty bread because it's so warm and comforting.

Am your new subbie😜😜 What a coincidence, my black beans are soaked for tomorrow, and I just came across your channel💃💃 My question is,can I use turmeric instead of curry if I need to use either paprika powder or tomato paste? Thanks, yummy😋😋😍
@Veena_Azmanov4 жыл бұрын
Turmeric is only one spice. Curry powder is a spice mix of many spices. So, it's not the same thing
@krystalneal64275 жыл бұрын
Hi! I wanted to know if the entire black bean curry is 172 g in whole or per serving?
@Veena_Azmanov5 жыл бұрын
Krystal - The whole curry is made with 2 cups of black beans which is about a 15 oz / 125 grams. Sorry, I don't measure so I use what the nutritional calculator gives me as a guide, to use below the post for reference. Sorry I can be more helpful with this information. Perhaps you can add the list of ingredients into your favorite calculator and see if it works for you. Thanks
