It's not like that for everyone and in the past I was able to take over 1000 mgs without any problems , but it's definitely a hella realistic possiblity

It’s about an abusive therapist I think. Edit: Waitwait, Ok so OKULTRA? Yeah, it’s a play on words for the government controlled secret psychedelic drug experimentation on humans in the 1950’s-80’s (correct me if I’m wrong) called MKULTRA before it was put to a stop. Obviously I don’t know exactly what they did but an obvious way to give the drugs to people would be to prescript them secretly in medical treatments, anti-depressant, (etc.) OKULTRA is mentioned a couple other times casually throughout the album including in the FIRST SONG where in the second half Will straight up throws in a very cheerful, “OKULTRA!” And judging from Will’s history with drugs, theming an entire song on how therapy sucks makes sense.

Everyone’s talking about the tempo of the song or the complexity of the lyrics, but it no one going to talk about how good the piano part at the beginning is? Like if the whole song was some kind of boss monologue then the beginning would sound like the thing that plays when you step into the boss arena for the first time. I don’t know how to describe it, but it would be awesome if there was a whole song with the same vibe the piano part gives, or at least an extended version of the piano.

Tell me about your nerve to steal nerves of steel from under bacchus' bloody nose Did namibian himbas tiedye you, your ears pierced with a phineas gage flagpole, did you die before your day? Thursday traction, Tuesday titration My hope is to assess through my objective report of your subjective conjecture whether this proprietary bled of expertise and seasoning works as well as this transorbital ice pick Holistic ballistics, you got a better idea? it's about the best we could come up with What, you think ideas spread because they're good? No, they spread because people like them So here we are once again, holding, as it were, a mirror up to your mirror I guess it's just something people do A bloody knife to split your infrastructure Wine to rev your motor function Coital machinations of the dead Well you mainline your animus Karate chop your abacus And learn to be an animal instead But i never did think you better than this Your modus operandi causes nazi skoptzyism and suicide Why to thine own self be try when it is you who are the problem Not the things you do but something sick inside Lithium and dialectics Boy you really is defective Cbt don't seem effective for that cluster B, accept it Offer up your innocence, please ignore the side effects You've lost your mind and almost lost your life before So you'll be fine For what? for what? For what it's worth, If it was going to kill you boy, it would have by now For what? for what? For what it's worth There's no more looking back And why would you want to look back I mean it's no good looking back so try to look forward now For what? for what? For what it's worth If they were gonna get you boy, they would have by now For what? for what? For what it's worth There's no more looking back, it's looking up or looking down

I interpret this song as a man or his peers reviewing how he died with lost frustration, guided by the therapist saying “did you die before your day?”, or should have died as demons and ghosts try to coerce him into insanity
@FinnIsInn2 ай бұрын
I think "did you die before your day" ties into the previous line about Phineas Gage. He got a superheated railroad spike blasted through his frontal lobe and he survived as the rod immediately cauterized the hole it made through his head and went clean out the other side. His personality was completely destroyed, and he became a man completely devoid of the self he once held. A death/change of personality could be called dying before your day.

I can honestly imagine the ER room and Will Wood being the "doctor" while talking to a young boy whose relationship with the criminal mafia guy on the examination is undetermined. Meanwhile, Will Wood is slowly starting to turn the ER room into an acid trip where he's slowly starting to magic trick off of the body, even having doubles playing the dead body like a piano and blowing off the tip of the head's own saxophone mouthpiece and warp the room to match what he is saying, from what he's observing, what he's been told, to what he is reading off of the doctor's notes. During the monologue, he is personally addressing the kid through a chair while literally, PsychoAnalyzing interrogating the kid while chucking at him a ton of questions, pulling out a bunch of items, and writing down things incredibly quickly before ending up pulling out a mirror to his face which is now a mirror, before cheekily shrugging it off. Then comes the rest of the lyrics and the kid is now being treated like the previously mentioned dead body before the entire song ends with two Will Woods Neo Cortex falling (before, he just pointed up and down like Scout's default Baseball Taunt) and being pulled up by a rope like a creepy smiling doll being noosed across his neck before crashing into one Will Wood who poses for the camera with his arms outstretched, and a hop to be put on one foot with a smile across his face and the entire sequence animation ends. Basically, very Looney Tunes tone with what is clearly a horrifying situation for anyone to watch or be subjected to. I would honestly imagine a lot of musicians like Will Wood to have a very Rod Serling role to their art, heck, I would love to be looked at as a Rod Serling figure in the rest of my work. Tally Hall and Bo Burnham come to mind as other Rod Serling figures to their music.

Possible tip for keeping up with this: |Could be circumstantial, as I have no way to test this| Learn & keep up with 6up 5oh first, as both are fast paced with a lot going on but 6up 5oh isn't as lengthy. Let me know if this helps 👍 [ I'm still tripping up on a phrase, as well as the monologue. This possibly circumstantial tip just helped me with keeping up with the rest. ]
