That was a really cool video. I like how you pointed out the wildlife with text on the screen. You're right, with that wide angle lens, it really makes things look a lot smaller and farther away then they really are. Have you considered putting your other camera on your helmet to get a POV angle? That would have let you look down into the river they way you said you wished your drogue camera could. Then just use your editing software to cut between the two depending on which one gives the better shot.

Matt - I had my other camera on the helmet, but once again, it failed to start when I pushed the button on the remote. I think it might have been user error this time as the camera was set in the 'view video' mode when I lnanded. It's always worked before when it was on the helmet and the remote was only a few feet away on my wrist. I hope to get another chance to fly this area before the grass turns brown and I'll try once again.

It's a type of ultralight called a Sun Seeker. It's one of only 16 that were ever built back the mie 1980's by a company in Redding, California. Not very many of them left.
