There are always good reasons as to why the most powerful entity is NEVER the highest authority. Look at Lucius. He wants to be king of the world and the most powerful mage there is. In chapter 335, the aristocracy were discussing what would become of the kingdom if the wizard king really turns out as an enemy of the state. Marx even tried to sugarcoat it to which Lucius responded: such sophistry. There’s bound to be a political predicament after judgment day.

@@Grayson-Winchester I haven't seen that but the example I was thinking of is in a game called limbus company where in one of the chapters of that game there is a version of one of the main characters that travels through different timelines to kill every version of themselves doesn't have to be the exact plot line but just some sort of character that traverses through different timelines to achieve some sort of Goal.
