Just to signal boost - if anyone lives near a microcenter, the surface laptop 7 with x plus is currently $800 ($799) if you go in person to pick it up. All colors, I finally got my sapphire/ice blue color. I picked mine up a few days ago and the deal is still in place - I doubt it will go lower than this even on black friday.

for 2nd monitor ( external/portable monitor) i have a ZSUS 2160*1440 14-inch 2K Portable Monitor, it is a great value product imo, on a sale you can get it for 70$.

I feel like monitors, especially when you have channels like monitors unboxed, etc, are already covered by other channels, I don't think it would do this team any justice to split their time between different types of devices It's like keyboards, the moment they touch that, keycult/space65 crazy people like me who spend way too much time lubing switches'll probably rip them a new one over a topic that already has 5+ other people already specializing in Same with mice, you already have badseedtech and optimum who already touch on that topic As they say in business, know your niche and stick with it. If you find ways to expand, audiences like us will know if someone half-assed it

Got macbook air m3 16gb for 900 at best buy. Searched alot for windows laptops but went with mb air. In fact got it for 835 afte all discounts etc Edit: Its going for 850 at best buy as of today(22-11). After discounts etc it might be around 800 mark. Worth buying for sure!

I see the $850 price. What kind of additional discount? Where did you get the additional discount? I already have an M3 Mac 15 inch with 16 GB and 512 SSD, but I'm just curious. Had I waited, I could have gotten mine $20.00 cheaper, but I'm happy to have it in hand, and I have been using it every day. I've noticed that Apple and Microsoft standardized their sale prices everywhere. I've been looking after the fact (except for the home shopping network, which is ridiculously high). Enjoy your laptop. You will love it.

I have the XPS 14 with the 1920x1200 screen. It is AWFUL I have buyers remorse. The ghosting and response time is horrible and it looks dull for the colors. Don't do the same mistake that I did!

Can you review the new Yoga Pro 7 with AMD Zen 5 32GB with 2.8k OLED? It was recently released on Lenovo's website. I know you didn't really like the Zen 3 or 4 versions but I'm really curious to see if it really is a step up from those and if it performs like what it is on paper and how it compares to the Slim 7i Aura Edition

Hi Mr. Josh! I’m having a hard time deciding between the Surface Laptop and the OmniBook 14. You mentioned that the OmniBook 14 is the next generation of the HP Spectre, which I was already considering. Can you help me decide between the two? Also, I have a Mac, and there are a few things that bother me about it-like the inability to copy multiple items at once and how it handles downloads. You said the HP Spectre is great, so I’m curious if the OmniBook 14 is the better option. The OmniBook 14 is $1600, and the Surface Laptop is around $1200. I'd really appreciate your thoughts and advice! 😊

First of all...400$ off what price? Some retailers post a fake inflated base price and tell you its 50% off when in reality there is no discount...that is just the real price.

I despise using MacOS, so the Snapdragon Elite it is! I have the Galaxy Book Edge and have absolutely been loving it to pieces. I also have a 2024 G16 for when I want to game. The Edge has been fantastic for my schoolwork (software engineering) and even emulates Eclipse (Java class, yuck) really well.

Please if you can make a video to address this I’d appreciate it, I figured out all it needed is a simple bios update but I know others are having an issue.

were the touch bar macbooks that bad? i tried the 2019 13" one with i5. sadly it was an 8gb ram with only 128 gb of storage, but the touch bar has been really nice and the rest of the laptop feels nice i would assume every higher tier version i would assume to be much better. or is there some flaw im not seeing?

I have and use an external monitor. Does it really matter about the screen brightness / NITS of the laptop? I'm considering getting a Dell Inspiron 16 Plus with the 2.2k panel and I know it only goes up to 300 NITS but would my monitor enhance picture quality?

Outside of the electronic F keys, I actually like the Dell XPS 13 Snapdragon and Lunar Lake versions. Good if you work in a Microsoft heavy ecosystem for general office work and photography. I wouldn't recommend them for anything beyond that. Dell XPS 14 and Dell XPS 16 just get destroyed by Lenovo Yoga Pro 9i. Not even worth giving those XPS versions attention.

I bought one of their Victus laptops 2 years ago as a desktop replacement, with coupons I got it for $1200 AUD rtx 3060, 32gb.... It's been awesome but I can only say that for my use case.

In America on the Microsoft store, on amazon, and at Best Buy, they all set the Surface 7 13.8 inch screen with 16 GB and 512 SSD at $899.00 U.S. dollars. Check to make sure your engineering programs will run on it. That is the main complaint people have had: programs that won't run on the arm processor. I took a risk as I thought it was a good deal. I don't have it yet, so I don't know how well it works. But the only thing I need to worry about is if it works with my old printer. If it doesn't, I can hook up my printer to my other computer. HP suggested it would work with a universal driver. I don't use google docs much anymore, which it does not work with, they say. It should work with Zoom. I will see.

I don't understand ever since covid these retailers everywhere have just had shit Black Friday sales. No physical media hardly anywhere and going to this month long online pre black friday crap. Its like they gave up wanting to sale us products and said "they don't need a sale,make the consumers pay full price." WTF is going on with retailers..? Just go back to Black Friday being on friday and actually give us good deals. DAMN!
