So glad you’ve bought into the ironmaster brand. They go a bit under the radar even though they’ve been making gym equipment since the 70’s! Love the history and just how they stick to the basics, but make it great and not just churn out new item after new item. It’s like way thought out before releasing and a family run business still too, love supporting that! This way I feel they appreciate your custom and don’t faze you out of the ecosystem. Can’t say anything but good things enough about ironmaster, glad to see it in your gym Mike 💪🏻

Thanks so much man. I was getting that vibe from them as well (and of course from you guys who were letting me know) about the respect they have for their customer. I know they got new stuff coming, but I double checked and their dumbbells are not going anywhere as far as design upgrades. Which also made me confident about investing into their system. What's your first name again?

@@hybridresistance that’s what pulled me in and bought nearly all their catalog. I was beyond impressed from the get go! I’ve only got that last expansion to get, I’ve sort of said to myself when I can press the 135’s I’ll go for it haha! And the kettlebell handle I still need to pick up too. Seems like you’re getting that way yourself, highly recommend the leg curl / extension, I think it’s one of the best out there feeling wise. Be great to see their new stuff too. And yes of course, my name is Scott.

@@josehasido9632 I think they'd be too long for sure, not to mention very hard to pull off with how heavy they are. The heavy DBs just feels much heavier than a barbell. What I didn't mention is that there's obviously the potential of in-between weights(135-180) for some other uses.

Do you think the vest would work for someone my size or would it be too big? Thanks!

I am humbled by your ability to lift the dumbbells maxed out like that. I might consider getting that add-on one day, but no time in the present. I did end up grabbing the cable tower add-on based on your previous review, the leg attachment due to some of the recent discussions to your videos, and lastly the adjustable mace. Outside of finding some options for flooring, I think I'm done for a while and hopefully prices won't go crazy next year for some of this workout gear.

If you were an apartment guy and had 1 spare average sized bedroom, what would your setup be? I was thinking of a Speediance monster, but that seems a bitch to carry up 4 flights of stairs - and I'm planning on moving in the next year or 2 so would be a bitch to get out again! Maybe an Innodigym P1 Max? Seems decent, but then there's not lat pull down option with that. I've tried the resistance band route but I can't get into it. I prefer the feel of a solid weight, and something in my brain needs a quantifiable amount of weight or resistance to know that I'm making progress
@hybridresistance4 күн бұрын
If you had some the help the speediance wouldn't be bad, but I can confirm that moving a speediance up and down stairs is not fun at all (and dangerous) doing it solo. Knowing what I know now and using the Ironmaster products, it would be that package I priced out in the video no question and a sliding bench trainer for cable work.

@hybridresistance4 күн бұрын
The only real difference is that the GR doesn't have the option for the weight bar attachment. I've gone back and forth with how important that is, but I'd now prefer the weight bar option on the total gyms, especially that now I can use the Ironmaster plates on there as well.

Interested in investing in ironmaster. Looking at starting with vest and getting plates for it. Says up to 70lbs in 2.5 to 5lb increments. So guessing can accomodate any number of plates of those sizes to reach 70lbs total. 17.5lbs in each of the 4 compartments? Can anyone comfirm this? Thanks!
@hybridresistance3 күн бұрын
@@Jriggz-rs6di I don’t know if you caught it in the video, but I weighed in 80 pounds on mine. I don’t think they recommended though based on their description. Basically each pocket can hold a pair of 5s in compartment. So a total of 20lbs in each of the 4 pockets
