Black Lungs with Architects in Australia - Troy Wright Live Drum Cam

Earlier this year I was asked to fill in for Dan Searle of Architects during their 2023 Australian tour as he was unable to make the tour due to family commitments.
This song is Black Lungs, the opening song of the set, which really sets the vibe for the whole show perfectly. It's heavy, groovy and has a huge breakdown 🤘🏻
This was the 4th and final show of the Australian tour at the Fortitude Music Hall in Brisbane on the 22nd of February. Shot on GoPro with audio mixed by foldback engineer Dan Williams similar to my stage mix minus click.
Big love to all the band, crew and Dan Searle for asking me to fill in for these shows! I had a fucking blast.

Do you always play with the vocals that low, and do you always keep the bass high in the mix - or is that an Architects thing since the bass is so prevalent and syncopated with the drums? Cheers!

This mix isn't exactly what I had on stage but very close. It's obviously a drum heavy mix with the kick very prominent, followed by bass, guitars and then vocals quite low
