I defeated him after 3 hours, but he is way harder on New Game+. So much so that he actually kicks me out of my spells. Lol. If anyone says this guy is easier on New Game+ is either lying or something is wrong with their game. The man has a thousand new moves.

Ng+ was a breezy revenge tour. Ng++ I just beat him last night. I was looking up builds when I got close to him but in the end I used the build I like and got him second try. But with that being said, on the first two trips he just sat still and talked shit when I transformed into the rock thing (azure dust). He would let you get some hits in and gather your thoughts. But now the moment I transform he smacks me out of it. The first time I thought it was a glitch, lol the next two times showed me it wasn't.

tried this in ng++ dmg only goes as far as 1st phase and most times he just gets away from fan to fast, I was only able to “lock” him once lol…. I’m lasting more with my regular build (secret armor and dark staff) he just hits hard as f.. and can one shot you with some attacks … in fact ng++ as been like that for some boss … ng+ was such a breeeeze lol

Got him in first playthrough with the Qi build. Took me a few tries to get used to it. Total death count on erlang at first playthrough was like 15 i think.

With this there are no phase changes. The duplicate Spell of Many + crit chance and crit damage, and the pills he takes, kills him before those phases can occur.

@@GameWithDave Unfortunately, in NG3, Erlang avoids most of the super attacks, which makes the fight almost impossible to win. It's a really tough challenge, and I'm working on figuring out the best strategy to overcome it! If anyone has tips or strategies for this fight, feel free to share them in the comments.

@@franksantosdominicanfusion7409 If you use the resurrection medicine an the spell that also resurrect you apon death which can be use two times if level it up to max then have ring of fire that also heals you plus the fan an that ball to delete his shield then he's cooked just don't let him delete yo heals to quickly try getting his heath low first

​​@@franksantosdominicanfusion7409 it took me 15 tries to beat erlang yesterday on NG+4 and let me tell you, oh boy he was so aggressive and with 2 - 3 hits you're dead. Thankfully, wukong stance helped a lot in this one, had I not unlocked this stance I would've probably been stuck on him and perhaps taken 40+ tries. Make sure you have drink equipped that gives you qi with each sip to use fan multiple times throughout the fight. Good luck! I know you got this, just keep trying.

It worked in ng but not in ng+1 anymore… had to fight him legit and it was by far the hardest fight so far

NG+ is piss easy, however from NG+2 and onwards bossess have much more health pool, they hit hard and are more aggressive. If you have never played dark souls, then trust me you don't want to go beyond NG+2. I completed NG+4 yesterday and even after being good at dodging it took me 15 tries to beat erlang.
