Because the rap style and accent in the game are from Yulin City in northern Shaanxi Province, China, commonly known as Shaanxi storytelling. And the map outline of Shaanxi Province, including its terrain and the distribution of major cities, is very similar to that of the UK. It’s Scottish. Never call them English unless you want to get glassed in the face. Also the localization is what it is but by no means is it “good” - it’s dumb that their idea of a rural accent is this. Would be more accurate as a KKonaW Texas farm boy. I really appreciated the localization effort they made here... The original lyrics were sang in a dialect from north-western China, so translating it into English with Scottish accent was a smart move. Not only that, the English lyrics actually rhymed, and rhymed on the same syllables as the original Chinese lyrics! If you pay close attention you would notice that. Their English localization team is beyond epic imo. 8.5/10 as a game, but 11/10 as a piece of art!

I've listened to it when i became homeless and lived in some abandoned catacomb tunnels. I've listened to it when i fell into the grip of heroin addiction.
