Dude I used to go to the releases for COD at Best Buy they were the best. We would play the game about 2 hours before release and they would have giant screens give out snacks and merchandise. But it died after I want to say Ghost came out. Man I feel like this dad when I went last :( no one was there.

I never went to any midnight releases, but i remember playing BO3 on Christmas of 2015 on the Xbox one. My grandmas cousin who just moved down to Arizona gave me a couple of his ps4 games he didnt play anymore. I got not one, but 2 copies of BO3 on the ps4. Installed it, hopped into campaign for the nostalgia. What good times.😢

This new Black Ops is worth running out on release night but we ordered the bundle on Amazon anyway. I actually want Sony's warranty, 3 years $39. They'll fix the damn thing not just swap it out for the closest unit they have. I do like hanging around Best Buy though, cool place for gadgets.

Current Best Buy employee there is never anyone going for preorders it is a lot cheaper getting gamers club unlocked and buying games than it is going to Gamestop. I paid for gamers club unlocked and I have easily saved 80 dollars in my time at Best Buy Gamestop is ridiculous!

I've only gone to one midnight release myself and it was for Diablo 3 and there were even fewer people as this and it was a much more hyped/anticipated game. I think the whole midnight release craze is a thing of the past since you can get most games digitally now. Don't even see how best buy makes money paying all these people+hydro for the whole store to sell like 10 copies of COD.
