MWIII is everything I wanted in a CoD MP and BO6 is not even close to comparable. Right now I can play a game with minimal desync, little SBMM/EOMM with good maps or I can play Treyarchs latest misfire.

I hadn't played a COD since Cold War and I didn't realise how bad COD has gotten since then. I completely missed the MW reboot and I came to BO6 on Game Pass somewhat hopeful of the enjoyment I had in Cold War (FYI, the main shooters I had played had been R6 for a few years, Titanfall 2 and Battlefield 2042) - I loved the campaign and how it never felt like I was over-powered, it felt balanced. But I have left the game because: hitreg and damage inconsistencies in MP that result in unfair situations multiple times a game; the EOMM resulting in matches that never felt fun or balanced, it feels like I have to be at my best in a normal game; I find most of the maps have no flow or interesting gimmicks; the guns started off fun but eventually found almost none of them are usable with servers in current states; and weapon unlocks/attachment unlocks never felt rewarding. I haven't felt like this with a video game since Rainbow Six went down the drain and just lost it's character. I pray that BO6 improves but I won't comeback to it, I hope to see the next Battlefield title learn from it's competitor and become the dominant force in FPS - but that ain't happening, FPS scene has been dead since TItanfall 2 took the crown and died with it

I can’t deal with the horrible art style anymore. Cod used to be simple, clean and cool and memorable with the gun designs, setting,maps,menus, soldiers and music + announcers. Now it just looks a stupid spastic kids game and I am almost 30. Same goes for 15+ of my friends, we all just got fed up with this spastic look after having coming back for Mw2019 that promised a return to form. I think the juice that game brought back into the franchise has ran out We need a new fps Ip period

You can now see every stat they track from Vanguard to Bo6. They literallt track what operator skin you're using. They track everything. It's manipulative EOMM.

I think BO6 is a fairly mid COD, I don't mind playing it but I don't really have an interest in playing it anymore. The game plays fine if you aren't constantly troubled with the poor netcode and server quality, but the game doesn't have something that gets me going back to it. MWIII is by far my favorite COD in the past 5 years as they practically had a new gun or attachment come out every single week with challenges that were interesting, not just earn XP. BO6 doesn't have that and I just really don't care anymore.

I feel a lot of the quitting is from Activi$ion trying to cash in on events and bundles while the game still has an embarrassing amount of bugs and issues. One of the biggest ones is rank not showing properly. Everyone I play with is rank 1, which is pretty insulting as someone who hit master prestige for the 1st time since BO2. Secondly, the game will just flat out crash in the menus most of the time I load up holiday infected. Thirdly and foremost is the matchmaking itself. My friends no longer let me host as I'm a master prestige which gives them much harder lobbies than they normally get. Not to mention I haven't made a single friend in BO6 since few sit in game chat other than to trash talk the last 15 seconds. Compared to MWII, where I made a couple dozen friends playing DMZ where they tried something different that essentially required comms.

Prop Hunt is horrible in BO6 because the maps are 3 lane garbage, there's no interesting hiding spots, and you can't even hide up against anything because there's invisible walls everywhere!!

The game definitely had a promising start. However, i feel like with the usual annoyance with the tuning of SBMM, with how fast BO6 was to just completely abandon its time period aesthetics, with bug and connection issues that were amplified by the movement in BO6, less fun experimentation with the class and weapon custimization, and with the release of a new game in Marvel Rivals that has been an absolute hit with players in a formula that tends to draw in a lot of players, it's definitely felt like the hype for this COD entry has absolutely nosedived.

As far as you and your gf playing together goes have her be host or if on console split screen have her account be the one that is signed in first, when if comes to SBMM it generally goes off whoever is player 1 or host when playing in a party and given that she plays less and thus has little to no data for SBMM to track you'll both have an easier time.

You mentioned the biggest issue, can't play with your friends like before. We got this game to play together, if I wanted to play by myself, I would be playing a different game. Unfortunately, greed is first and this game is already the worst cod ever. Bad servers, hit reg, broken blueprints, camos don't work, zombies still lags, grenades are more powerful than the sun and most perks and killstreaks suck.

I just started playing this game on Christmas because my dad decided to get the game, and we both share a console so I get to play for free on my account. Even still, I didn't even wanna bother much with the MP or Warzone unless my friend was playing. I don't think its a bad game by any stretch, but I think its matchmaking and sever performance are the biggest things that hurt my enjoyment of the game a lot (nvm the lazy ass hackers and cracked players).

Why are the multiplayer maps so small and the zombies maps so big!? This is not “OG COD” at all. World at War had various maps sizes for multiplayer and the zombies mode started with small maps that lead to larger maps later on. If you don’t like this game play the older ones. Players are still are playing them. If someone is hacking then just leave the lobby restart the game and try to get in another lobby. If you still have problems just play a different game. Theirs like 13 game modes when in the past there was like 20+ game modes. This game is fucking BORING. The maps SUCK. The sweaty balls STINK. The campaign was cool but the ending ruined the whole experience for me. They will add all these bundles but can’t properly get cheaters and hackers out of the game. If you hate the game and are as bored as I am playing this game, uninstall it until they fix it or just move on because COD has seemingly moved on from us.

The whole game is rigged, and SBMM is not the main issue. EOMM is the biggest issue, and it is 100% a thing. The stats they have on all of us that play is insane, and can be used however they like. AI is heavily used in COD, and im not talking about 6 finger images. They can buff and nerf us at any time we are doing well, or bad. AI controls the game in my opinion

Im prestige 10, this game is my favorite call of duty in a long time and I feel like the community really doesn't know what it wants anymore. I don't understand people complaining about skins when we have these discussions about skins every year and it's clear they're not going anywhere especially because majority of the people complaining about anime skins are the same people who buy them, if people want more Milsim skins then they have to actually go and buy the Milsim skins, the anime skins are the ones that sell. This game has genuine problems but stuff like skins, SBMM, warzone, all of that isn't going away and it's useless for people to keep complaining about those things. For me, the biggest issue with this game is maps, the maps in this game aren't great and it'd be nice if we could get some classic maps back, maybe some maps we haven't seen in a while.

But I don't think this game deserves the level of hate it's getting.
