The community thing is 100% based off the community events in Helldivers. They saw how in those events the community would bum rush and complete in like a day. It drives up retention numbers. Every hour you are playing Duty, is an hour that you aren’t playing another game.

I think it's fine as a 1st event since, depending on people of all ages due to no school/work and some holidays are coming soon, a lot of people are going to play this game. If anybody curious for the personal HIt List event it's the following: 1000 Kills in Multiplayer 5000 Kills in Zombies 200 Kills in Warzone Basically just play the game.

I do agree on hoping for some more in depth events down the line, but The Hit List I really don't mind if it's not gonna necessarily be the standard. Back with MW3, sure the xp events were the weakest for the core design, but I didn't mind them either, could play the game how I still want or focus on other in game challenges. Here with The Hit List feels similar, just with half the rewards tied to big community effort, yet individual players don't need to contribute a ton to still get everything from this one.

​@@wyattsimons2637 It's a mode where the story objective is plainly laid out for you rather than you having to find it yourself, and they put round caps in between the steps so if you don't do a step in a certain amount of rounds, the round will just reset and not progress. For example, if you don't open any doors in the spawn room in Liberty Falls, the round will go up to round 3, and then at the end of round 3, instead of going to round 4, round 3 will just start from the beginning, and the rounds in this mode will not go past 15 regardless. It's meant for players who are just trying to do the story steps and don't care about surviving high rounds.

@ I haven’t played it myself yet, but from what I’ve seen, if you do not complete certain Easter egg quests, to make it easier for the players, it would cap the round at like 11 in order to make it easier for players to complete the Easter eggs. So now, people are using it to grind camos to have lower level zombies to kill.

This update reset all my zombies Intel progress on top of that. The last update they did where they gave us back our double XP tokens I only got 2/3 of what I should’ve gotten. I was completely missing all of my double battle pass XP tokens

Man I know it's subjective we all play the game differently and for different reasons but I think content creators complain about events and content more because their lively hood depend on it. I'm still grinding camos, prestige and weapon levels I didn't have time to worry about events and stuff because I didn't get to play as much as I'd like because I'm working 60-70 hours a week and when I'm not working I just want a strong edible and a warm bed but that's just me and I'm old 😭
