Native Americans, First Nation Canadians, Aboriginal Australians, etc. The point is to support communities that have been oppressed and marginalized, regardless of semantics. February is Black History Month in the US. It's a time to double down on our support of the black community. But most importantly to really listen and reflect on the atrocities inflicted on it and celebrate the triumphs and contributions the black community has made despite oppression. I would love for there to be a month for Indigenous cultures, hell, all these groups deserve their own months. But unfortunately, that doesn't exist. Not yet. So the best we can do is try our hardest to support them when we can. All of them. It doesn't have to be one or the other.

I love that the third store had women of different skin tones, including very dark, because I don’t think it’s seen enough. I’ve seen STUNNING women with very dark skin tone that weren’t modeling clothes that really could. People may say it’s “not profitable” or something but when you have darker skin, almost every color stands out and that’s the point of selling clothes, other than seeing yourself wearing the clothes to make you buy them. That’s a whole different story, but darker skinned people should be able to see that too, and want to buy the items, it’s really a win-win
