You misunderstood the first challenge fight. T'Challa had the strength of the Black Panther removed from him so that the challenge can be fair. He wasn't getting the strength he was having it removed. It was already in him. Same thing with the second fight he had it removed so could be a fair fight. If he had the heart shape herb The fight would have been unfair he would have killed both men easily

Here are some black panther facts. Killmonger was not related to T'Challa in the comic books. M'baku is one of Black panther's biggest villains while Ulysses klaw in some iteration is a villain made completely of found in considered one of Black panther's most powerful villains. There is a comic book that is Canon to the MCU showing the fact that T'challa became the Black panther in 2007. Also in 2007 killmonger was in Afghanistan at the same time as Tony Stark before he was kidnapped by the 10 rings organization. Vibranium cannot be detected by metal detectors. The vibranium mound seeped into the surrounding area strengthening the jabari trees which the jabari warriors wear for armor because the wood is stronger than titanium steel. The Dora milaje guard battle skills are so great they could defeat a super soldier in combat without power.

And some minor things: "We are vegetarians." "He was found by one of our fishermen." Why do you have fishermen if you're vegetarians? And everyone has to climb up the side of a rocky cliff in order to watch the combat. With all that technology, they couldn't build an arena with comfortable seats? Stairs? Wheelchair accessible? Sure, they can build it right there to keep the puddle of water and the waterfall to throw the loser down if they want. And who is riding those maglev trains while a civil war is going on? The king and the former king are trying to kill each other, but everyone is still commuting to work on trains that might run them both over

Hey, Evie! "Black Panther" is an important film. "Civil War" remains my favorite, "Winter Soldier" is, arguably, the best and "Guardians of the Galaxy" is cited as the most popular but the cultural and historical significance of this chapter in the saga cannot be denied. While all audiences marveled at the revelation of Wakanda, African-Americans, in particular, underwent a profoundly cathartic experience witnessing the potential of Afro-futurism dressed in the trappings of a popular entertainment that was both a Shakespearean family tragedy and a Robert Ludlum-esque espionage thriller! While a handful of non-caricatured supporting black characters existed like Howling Commando Gabriel Jones from Marvel's World War II comic "Sgt. Fury" portrayed by Derek Luke in "The First Avenger", T'Challa aka Black Panther is the first ever black superhero! As editor, Stan Lee had encouraged the staff since 1963 to include people of color in crowd scenes to better reflect reality, but, when Jack Kirby presented him with the design of a new superhero called Coal Tiger, Lee consciously made the groundbreaking decision to greenlight the character. Inspired by the 14th-century Mali Empire Sultan Mansa Musa and controversial Pan-African activist Marcus Garvey, Lee and Kirby boldly crafted a figure who was a monarch, a scientist and a costumed adventurer. Inspired by a 1950s Australian comic book jungle hero called The Panther, the co-creators changed their character's moniker to its present form predating the Black Panther Party's use of the name by just a few months. Stan and Jack introduced T'Challa in 1966 in "Fantastic Four" 52-53 wherein Marvel's First Family was defeated by this mysterious new player proving he could match wits with elastic Reed Richards aka Mr. Fantastic, Marvel's greatest intellect, and equal the strength of rocky Ben Grimm aka The Thing, one of Marvel's powerhouses! T'Challa is undone when the four coordinate against him but then he explains that he lured them to Wakanda to test his mettle against the best in the world so he could know he was truly prepared to avenge his father's death by confronting his nemesis, Ulysses Klaw. In the comics, Klaw killed T'Chaka while stealing vibranium and young T'Challa robbed Klaw of his arm but, in the MCU, Klaue's arm was taken by Ultron in "Age of Ultron" and T'Chaka was killed by Zemo in "Civil War". Misunderstanding resolved, the heroes help each other. The Panther comes to the US afterwards, guest stars in a four-issue run of "Captain America" and is recruited by Cap to join the ranks of "The Avengers" in 1968 for 72 issues during which M'Baku, The Man-Ape, debuted in 1969. In "Jungle Action", written by Don McGregor and illustrated by Gil Kane, the Panther returns to Wakanda to contend with a claim to his throne by N'Jadaka aka Erik Killmonger! This epic run from 1973 - '76 remains a critically acclaimed saga titled 'Panther's Rage' and serves as the basis for the movie. The next storied run of Panther tales were written by Christopher Priest and illustrated by Mark Texeira in 1998 for 62 dark and gritty issues which introduced the Dora Milaje and State Department attorney Everett Ross who is re-framed as a CIA agent in the MCU. The Panther's all-female bodyguard have their historical basis in the warrior women of the 17th-century Kingdom of Dahomey now known as the Republic of Benin in West Africa. The subsequent run of Panther comics in 2005 written by filmmaker Reginald Hudlin and illustrated by John Romita, Jr. introduced Shuri who eventually assumes the title of Panther herself. It was during this period that T'Challa wed Ororo Munroe aka Storm of the X-Men, one of Marvel's most celebrated unions! Director Ryan Coogler, known for the searing "Fruitvale Station" and the thrilling stealth-"Rocky" sequel, "Creed", was picked to helm the production. The end result was exotic, emotional and exciting! One week after "Civil War", we follow the young prince as he assumes the mantle of kingship by undergoing ritual combat, pursues justice against an enemy of the state and contends with a fateful usurpation of his throne. The film globetrots from Los Angeles to London to Busan but the principal setting is fictitious Wakanda, a wondrous civilization of flying air ships and bleeding edge technology hidden from the world by a cloaking field. A massive vibranium meteorite is the source of their high-tech wizardry but what makes Wakanda a Shangri-La of sorts is that the natural world has been woven into the fabric of society rather than sacrificed on the altar of progress as exhibited by the architecture of the capital, Birnin Zana, whose skyscrapers are accented with rustic design elements such as thatched rondavels and wooden posts studding the facades. There is also a spirituality to the culture such as communion with former Panthers in a savannah-like astral plane achieved via a psychotropic herb. The large cast is comprised mostly of actors of African heritage including some major names continuing the pattern of attracting top talent to Marvel productions. Already introduced in "Civil War", Chadwick Boseman returns as T'Challa aka Black Panther bringing the same compassion, thoughtfulness and dignity to his new role as monarch of Wakanda replacing his late father, King T'Chaka, played by John Kani, who was killed in the same movie but returns as a spirit in this one for some emotionally wrenching interaction with his son. T'Challa's living family includes Angela Bassett as stern but proud Queen Mother Ramonda and Letitia Wright as playful but brilliant Princess Shuri, a scientist who heads a Q-like division that outfits the Panther with state-of-the-art tech. Known as the deadly Michonne from "The Walking Dead", Danai Gurira gives a commanding performance as the fierce Okoye, head of the Dora Milaje. The reliably excellent Forest Whitaker plays Zuri, head priest and shamanic counselor who harbors a shameful Royal secret. The ravishing Lupita Nyong'o plays Nakia, childhood sweetheart to T'Challa and a covert agent of Wakanda quietly intervening against the ravages of tribalism and colonialism in Africa. Winston Duke plays M'Baku aka The Man-Ape in a charismatic performance as Jabari Tribe chieftain and challenger to the throne. Daniel Kaluuya of "Get Out" plays W'Kabi, Border Tribe commander, rhino wrangler, Okoye's beau and T'Challa's childhood friend who has an axe to grind against Ulysses Klaue, the South African mercenary and vibranium thief introduced in "Age of Ultron". Played again by Andy Serkis, the unsavory lout returns with a powerful sonic cannon appendage in lieu of the arm Ultron severed! Michael B. Jordan plays antagonist N'Jadaka aka Erik 'Killmonger' Stevens in a tour de force of righteous indignation and bitter rage. Cousin to T'Challa and forgotten son of Wakanda, he forces the new king to confront the sins of his father and the moral failure of his nation with a blistering final declaration that remains the MCU's most impactful. Sterling K. Brown of TV's "This Is Us" plays N'Jobu, T'Chaka's brother, whose opposition to Wakandan isolationism nearly sows the seeds of his homeland's undoing. Better known as Bilbo Baggins of "The Hobbit" films and Dr. Watson of the modern-dress "Sherlock", Martin Freeman returns from "Civil War" as CIA Agent Everett Ross along with Florence Kasumba as the Dora Milaje Ayo who challenged Black Widow. Two character actors play tribal elders: Isaach de Bankole is the River Tribe chieftain with the lip plate and Danny Sapani of TV's "Halo" is the Border Tribe chieftain. In bit parts, Nabiyah Be plays Killmonger's ruthless lover, the doomed Linda, Alexis Rhee plays the casino's sly frontwoman, Sophia, and Atandwa Kani, John Kani's actual son, plays the young T'Chaka. Sebastian Stan has a surprise cameo as James Buchanan 'Bucky' Barnes aka The Winter Soldier. Comedian Trevor Noah, "The Daily Show" host, voices Griot, the remote pilot operating system named after the African term for an oral storyteller. TRIVIA: 1. Instead of rhinos, massive Clydesdale horses were used on set to interact with the performers as their surprisingly similar gaits made their digital replacement easier! 2. Ludwig Goransson's score was the first superhero film score to be nominated for an Academy Award since John Williams' score for "Superman" in 1978! 3. Martin Freeman and Andy Serkis both starred in "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" together so the crew took to jokingly calling them 'the Tolkien white guys'. Lol. 4. The scenes in Oakland, CA were actually filmed in Atlanta, GA near Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s burial site. His daughter visited the set to bless the project. EASTER EGGS: 1. The nanite Panther suit is an innovation from Ta-Nehisi Coates' more recent 2010s run. 2. The horned mask Killmonger steals from the museum is a reference to a similar mask he wore in a duel with T'Challa during Reginald Hudlin's early 2000s comic run. 3. The 'White Wolf' moniker used for Bucky is a reference to a white character named Hunter from Christopher Priest's late 1990s comic run who was adopted by King T'Chaka as a child later to become the head of Wakanda's secret police known as the Hatut Zeraze! CAMEO: 1. Stan Lee appears as a slick gambler in the underground Busan casino who scoops up the chips T'Challa leaves behind for 'safe-keeping'. END-CREDIT SCENES: 1. After delivering an inspirational speech at the UN about illusory divisions and shared commonalities, T'Challa states Wakanda's intent to share its resources with the world. 2. Bucky Barnes is awoken by children and emerges from a thatched hut by a lake to be met by Shuri who asks about his health and informs him he has much to learn. The next chronological stop in the MCU is "Spider-Man: Homecoming" set two months after "Civil War" followed by the "Agents of SHIELD: Slingshot" web series.

I was going to attempt to explain why it meant so much to a lot of people but you won't get it. You don't have the context and that's fine. The value someone places on anything has high degree on how they relate to it. There are things in your home right now that you hold as invaluable that someone else would look at and say it's nothing special and toss in the garbage. Your personal relationship and experience in context is where the value for you and that thing lies. Someone else has different experiences and context so they won't see the extended value, only face value. Neither you nor the person is wrong. You are both entitled to hold whatever value level matches the context and respect each-other's right to both.
