I remember being a young liberal. I was so happy when Obama won his first run. The thing that first peeled my eyes open was being charged $600 a year for not having full coverage health insurance all year round. I was a part-time college student and part-time employee at 20 years old. That was one of the first things Trump got rid of when he won. It made me question everything. I haven't looked back since. Thank you for working together to discuss these issues further. As a "white" (I'd argue my Irish blood makes me more pink) female, I feel like I can't openly speak about these issues. You both speak for me, as well as many of us, and it is appreciated.

Same here. I remember paying $1200 a year in penalty for not having medical insurance because my job (small business) is allowed to not offer any insurance to their employees. the cheapest plan they offered at that time via the market place is at $200 AND there is no doctor in my town that will accept the "affordable" insurance. Instead of having to pay $200 a month for the useless medical insurance, I figured it is cheaper to pay the penalty. I am so thankful that Trump got rid of that once he got into the office.
@inezrosario2263 ай бұрын
My first turnoff to Obama came when he lied and said I could keep my doctor and my insurance. Not only did I not get to keep my doctor, my insurance company dropped my policy for an "enhanced" Obama policy that included braces for kids under 14 (I don't have kids), pregnancy coverage (I was post menopausal), and a littany of other benefits that did not include me. I only kept the new policy because in 3 months I was eligible for medicare. Thank God, because that Obama enhanced policy premium nearly doubled from $720 per month to $1250 PER MONTH.

Its infuriating to hear "ONLY a HANDFUL of apartment complexes were taken over" they were taken over and held hostage; mind you those apartment complexes were not just BUILDINGS. They had American Citizens, men, women, and children of all colors and creed being held hostage. The way she refers to the apartment buildings sounds as though she was detaching the people in danger. Inside of Hispanic communities they told us we need to be separated by color, opresor and victims. Nasty. They advocated for separated graduation ceremonies: Latino, white, Asian, Black, Native Indians. The cherry of the cake was the change of the word “Latino” for “Latinx”. No one asked us. I dealt with the issue of law enforcment not deeming a crime bad enough. I had a situation in Kentucky where a grown ass woman attacked my 8 y/o son and when I called the police they never came out or even called me back and when I called to see why, they said because i stopped the attack it wasnt a situation they would inervine on........😮 I moved out of Kentucky as quickly as i could, the idea that that wasnt a punishable crime was mind boggling to me

Loved your podcast! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Awesome seeing men & women speaking up against Obama’s remarks. Sunday, I watched the Ben Shapiro Sunday Special and his guest (I cannot recall his name) explained the reason why Black generations have been voting Democrat. It was an eye opener understanding the history behind and how prominent Black leaders have been manipulated the Black community to continue voting Democrat.

My dad has always been a sensitive guy. I've seen him cry many times. He cried when he took me to see Beauty and the Beast. He also doesn't know anything about cars, has never grilled, doesn't hunt, hires people to fix things because he doesn't know how to fix things himself, etc. He's a mathematician who loves reading theology, Mandarin (he's fluent), and computer programming books. My husband couldn't care less about sports or cars, and he doesn't like beer. I'm not someone who thinks men have to be super "manly." However, if something goes bump in the night, my husband's the one who's checking it out, not me. No, he isn't afraid to cry, but if he were as emotional as I am, it'd be a major turn-off. LOL Masculinity comes in different forms. But, you can tell the difference between a man and a beta male. I'm not saying a man has to be an "alpha" - I'm just not into betas.
