Right? Flipping the entire enemy team for an unblockable sweep to hit most if not all of them that can then be followed up with a light or heavy with the ability to go back into bulwark after the attack if need be, with immunity from damage that lasts until the end of the sweep. The gank meta (as I personally like to call it) in 4s is going to have to incorporate far more guardbreaks than usual against this guy if it wants to have any chance against him. Kinda wanting to see what kinda antigank hell Faraam is going to unleash with him.

Like and subscribe if you're a Black Prior main Edit: time for the *biased* KZbinr to sound like a prick. Black Prior can cancel attack recoveries to all block. When I tested this against deflects, the bots were programmed to deflect, so I knew to flow into all block. In a real fight, unless I predict an enemy is going to deflect, this counter isn't possible, as I won't be in all block.

LB can still block shove the other 2/3s of the cast and has 50+ damage heavy parries and one of the best ganks in 4v4.

@@yungmalaria In a one on one though, he has very limited options besides turtle-ing. As someone who plays him a lot, and tries to go on the offensive, it really is quite hard to do much if you have a competent enemy. Long arm is of next to no use (Unless you can wall splat or some such), his parry into charge is... alright, it's not the best, not the worst, the AD MORTEM INIMICUS is alright, and always satisfying to land, but still kinda eh. In general, the dude needs a re-work. Not a buff since he has some uses but... a rework.

Cameron McAllister Realistically against most opponents the offense of 90% of the cast means little to nothing, so being able to kill a person with 2 heavy parries while 2/3s of the cast can barely get chip on you is a more than playable hero. Realistically you don’t even need to attack as a hero with good offense, that’s just how the game is unfortunately. And his parry into impale is most certainly the best, it’s 50 damage guaranteed with a shove mixup of 15-30 or in the cast the opponent dodges the light and tries to GB and eats the followup heavy it repeats the mixup again, or if for whatever reason they unlock roll from the shove you can impale them again for potential 20-50 damage again.

Only destroyer, it’s the worst idea of Ubisoft. Assassin are dead with deflect useless (you need know when u fake deflect guardbreak or no) and bullshit unblockable (other hero need parry but this hero don’t care) and I don’t talk about jump kill or bomb aptitude4 don’t work. But why they don’t give infinite life or heal when he do it ?

Conspiracy theory time, The Vortiger is a Sith lord and Warlord is a Jedi knight. Dont believe me? Just listen. Vortiger is edgy, and loves darkgnash, so already he has the theme down. I mean come on, in the lore these guys live in/defend the vultcano. Being able to survive a strike from the Vult-a-pult™ and throw 4 falling opponents over your head is no simple feat either, so he must be using the force. And so much so that he's literally immune to his enemy having the high ground. As for the Warlord, he is obviously a Jedi Knight from his newest execution, where he uses the force to lift his shield into his opponent's hands, then goes for a swift saber strike. The identifying hallmark of this theory lies in the fact that both of these characters have a sword and shield combo, when no other character does, and they are the only characters who are Jedi. Personally, I believe that Ubisoft has been given rights to Star Wars by Disney, and that this is the story of how the force was discovered and the Jedi arose.

He looks fairly balanced. You gotta remember most people cant react to these things you also gotta remember this is a controlled environment so the possibility of doing something godly is going to be very rare. Plus I dont think my reaction time is good enough to make half of these possible.

He's not balanced. He's close but not there. And just because low level or even mid level players won't be able to do this doesn't mean it shouldn't be addressed. There was a Warden Bug that would one shot everyone, but not every Warden could do that. There was also a Centurion infinite 100-0 combo bug, not every Centurion could pull it off but it still got hot fixed. This should be addressed as well.

These are all very impressive but nobody accounts for 50/50 or delayed attacks. Just because something is possible in a controlled environment doesn't make it reliable. Only 1% of players will have the mental conditioning, reaction time and understanding to counter a deflect. Black prior looks balanced all things considered.

This is true. It’s all gonna come down to the player timing things correctly as some of these required a bit of practice to get down. Not to mention any soft feints to gb, delayed soft feints like conquerors shield bash, or hard cancels to gb are huge counters that give big damage

to be fair it takes a very high iq to use the bulwark counter. the timing is extremly subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physiks, most attacks will still hit the average player

Ahm....... I.... I'm.... Invulnerability? I'm not very fine with that. Yeah, I'm really not fine with unpunishable punishes. Every parry follow-up can be punished by an ally thus saving you in 4v4. Every Crowd Control move can be punished when ganked, making something unpunishable smells to me like it is going to be abuse in some way. Just give him damage reduction, it's not like the animation is even that long.

Maybe I didn't do enough testing, but when I was at the point where I became invulnerable, the catapult did knock me out of it, so maybe other bashes can still knock BP out at that stage. And I'd argue this is still punishable, if you mistime the counter there's a hefty recovery time, and I believe getting hit during that time knocks you out of all guard, meaning you cant immediately go for the counter. Not to mention the second he goes into all guard enemies should be guard breaking him, he can't do a thing about that.

@@MarcoYolo Hopefully. I don't care anymore about tiers and Overpower or not moves. I chose to play warlord and stick with him since season 1. The problem is that a hard to counter move is going to kill the not skilled player base which will cry for nerfs and such for the rest of time. For Honor is in a dangerous state where the palyers have been put in the mind-set that everything new is OP. If the devs walk on that fine line between actually OP and fair move they might alienate even further the players.

I-frames is a bad concept in general. From day 1 I insisted to remove them entirely and actually make dodges model-based. Its just not satisfying seeing the sword going thru the body of enemy with no reaction from it. In this case its not that harmful - it kinda looks like he uses shield but catapult strike is weird.

A single ability, multi-target, damage dealing answer to almost all CC in the game that makes you invulnerable during and requires no stamina. Even on paper, this hero strikes me as being over-powered. I guess that's partly intentional though as an OP hero makes more people want to buy him.

But I believe that the rest attacks that can be countered make some sense. Also keep in mind that some players might only use that counter instead of an actual parry more often.

@@9553shadow as lights don't bounce off OOS opponents, he currently can light into guaranteed bash->light, even if the light is blocked. he can also just faint a heavy if the opponent tries to parry the light. I think Tiandi had something similar but it was patched before release, they will probably fix it too before release.
