Ray had an amazing voice and took on the role of a Dio-esque front man very well. What I find interesting is that he introduces the older Sabbath tunes as "Sabbath" while introducing the Seventh Star material as "from the new album". To me it sounds like Iommi was still treating this album as a solo album which is what he wanted to begin with.

It's not the fact that it's not really Black Sabbath. It's the fact that Iommi wanted this to be a solo album but the record label forced his hand. If Iommi wanted this as a solo album we shouldn't have an issue with fans saying it's not really a Black Sabbath album.

Yeah all 2000 of them in a 10,000 seat venue! This tour was a disaster and many dates got cancelled. As per Tony’s book.

@@juhanipaasikangas4185 there’s a couple of okay tunes. Title track is okay, Danger Zone is good. The mix is really amateur. Hard to critique it as a Sabbath album as it wasn’t intended to be one.
