Just a reminder Ozzy REALLY cannot sing for s**t! No doubt he was high or drunk as usual even if he claims he wasn’t. Only thing consistent in all lineups was the skills of the musicians not his singing. This is the guy who SCREWED Bob Daisley and Lee Kerslake over and even went as far as removing their musical contributions and replacing them with session musicians covers of their original parts!

Ray and Tony Martin were the best vocalist for BS. Ozzy sucked. Dio was good but lyrics sucked. Ian not a good fit. Glenn not a good fit. Tony and Ray awesome.

I always liked what Fenholt did on these demos. He had the pipes. Love the end result with Glenn Hughes of course, but always wondered about an album with Jeff...

Strange singing style, short bursts, not very many syllables. This shows what a great talent Glenn Hughes is, he took these songs to a new level on Seventh Star with some great vocal lines.

Amazing 🙏🏻 Tony Martin was perfect👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼Tony Iommi was legendary as. usual...Cozy Powell was spot on...RIP gone way too soon...we were robbed when we lost Cozy Powell. one of the best drummers of all time... there was a certain magic when he called out those beats..his double bass ...coupled in with Neill Murray bass...such a professional so underrated..his bass playing style...really leave you mesmerized..when these guys got together in the same room was Magic to say the least...All masters of Metal legendary. Tyr, Headless Cross, Cross Purposes the Ano Mundi collection is Gospel..I wish they would have stuck together more..keep in mind as time goes by these bands get better playing together their art evolves to progress with practice. They were just starting. I believe this line up was amazing and they had very little time together 🙋🏻

If anyone else ever sang like this they would be the laughing stock viral video of the week… somehow it got ozzy to the top of the top (I think his persona was a big part of his success) 2:38 🤷🏻♂️ I love ozzy but damn he is definitely an acquired taste!

I saw Ken tamplin saying he was the weakest of the sabbath singers and he couldn’t sing live 😂
@casanovafunkenstein50902 ай бұрын
I'm going to get flack for this, but I think that this is much more aligned with my tastes than any of the other non-Ozzy lineups. They're going a bit Pink Floyd with it in a lot of places, but Tony's guitar and the rhythm section in general are still really tight and have a really enjoyable interplay. Singer sounds great, not overcomplicating the melodies or being too flashy like Glenn Hughes. Dio had better vocal tone and delivery, but he was much better when he wasn't singing for Sabbath and these are just bootlegged demos, so he probably would sound far better with a full album release. This is a really solid set of demos and it would have been nice to see them developed into a full album with this lineup.

Obviously controversial because of what he got into and the way he used this to his advantage. He didn't write any of the finished product - everything here has different melodies and different lyrics, so at least no controversy there. But this should just be seen as an alternative reality 7th Star. Really interesting. Great singer, too.
