Tony Iommi is the reason I picked up a guitar when I was 13. Still playing after 20 years. 🎸

You can hear the power of the PA and the amps torturing the IPhone mic

It was a real camera, not an iPhone. But yeah, wish the clarity was better. KZbin compression doesn't help.

@@mikec4604 I was at Sabbath’s last concert in Chicago. Not as close as you were, but, it was epic.

Did they really play “Into the Void” and “Snowblind” in the original album tuning? Because that’s what it sounds like
@mikec46043 жыл бұрын
I think they did early on. This was just the second show of the U.S. tour. I have another recording from a month later where they're obviously tuned lower. Probably adjusted at some point to accommodate Ozzy.

Ar 4:16 Ozzy performing his famous Ozzy hop, in 1994 he slipped and broke his ankle doing that hop during his NMT tour delaying some shows. Their collective showmanship is amazing, still after 50 years.

That's it; God is left-handed, his name is Ozzy, he plays bass and plays high energy drums, only they actually exist and they are Black Sabbath. *I don't think Bill Ward would have kept us. They played themselves into Sabbath ghosts. And then, Ozzy walks again!

I watched the first half of the video thinking, "why is this edited so we can't hear Ozzy sing?" Then I watched the second half of the video wishing we'd hear less of Ozzy singing.
@mikec46042 жыл бұрын
Ozzy had a rough night. Besides that though, Tony's riffs and solos are what I most love about Sabbath, so I would've focused on him anyway, especially being right in front of him.
