@@JJWilliams-uk3rf Because of Satan, Jesus. :) Supposedly Black Sabbath want to focus on their first thirteen studio long plays and on top of that the last following five that were released 1988-1995 were on a record company (IRS Records) that from what I understand at this moment does not exist. Their fourteenth studio long play also has Tony Martin on it as the lead singer but it was released on a major label that still exists or at least has been made a part of at this point in time which I think is Universal Music. Hopefully years down the road these releases with Tony Martin as the lead singer will get their own box set like "Black Box" and "The Rules Of Hell: Black Box 2". Something will probably need to be done for "Born Again and "Seventh Star" first. The Deep Purple years? :)

First time I heard Tony Martin was when I bought The Eternal Idol on tape.. I was expecting someone like Dio and he kinda did sound a bit like him in moments,but he also had this own glorious voice that was melodic but immediately Metal too..I wore that tape out and got the LP later...awesome singer,awesome voice..recognized,but underrated .

I Love them all but yes. My favorite. Also because he had to sing all the others. Music is subjective. Like ice cream or beer. PS - if you hate tony Martin but love sabbath and iommi that stay silent if you would. Kind of like “only say what you have to say good about iommi and sabbath. Because I’m the end. Iommi is sabbath. Not ozzy. Not dio. Etc. they were parts. History. But longest running member who kept it alive and going was Tony Iommi. Thank you. PS - and thank you to all who appreciate TONY MARTIN and the person who created this iconic video from the Black Sabbath forbidden album with tony Martin from 1995. !!!

Love his voice and vocal range. But he is only that good on studio versions. Performing live, he is nothing close to studio. For example, in late 89's he stopped going to some higher notes in When Death Calls and others songs. His live performances kept decreasing quality throughout the years. I know that he had a throat infection something around 1992-1994 right after they (Sabbath) recorded Cross Purposes, but I don't know if that affected his voice permanently.
