Jo Jo Zep is a musical icon, so talented it is unfair to the rest of the music industry. As for Vika and Linda Bull, they are national treasures. If there is anyone in Australia with a bad word to say about them.. well they've taken a long walk off a short pier.

'Harley and rose' another good song from them. Also the singer joe Camilleri had a great band in the 70's called jo-jo Zepp and the falcons. The ladies are Vika and Linda Bull, gorgeous singers in their own right. Ho, Hum. my country has so many class acts. Stop it, its embarrassing.

Good song, I haven’t heard this for a long time. Joe is actually a saxophonist and his previous band was more r&b / blues - jo jo zep & the falcons. The girls are Vika & Linda Bull and are excellent in their own right and pop up all over the place including RocKwiz - which is worth trawling for the celeb duets that closed every show doing a cover of something or other.

The singer, Joe Camelleri is not only a good singer and guitarist, but is one of Australia's best sax players. He use to play sax in Joe Joe Zep and the Falcons. And the sisters, Linda and Vika Bull, they are awesome. They did a version of Nutbush, but changed the words so it was about Covid. The younger one is so cute and animated. I'm glad you are listening to some Aussie stuff.

Lol…whoever’s giving you these Aussie music suggestions lately are really sending you down the ‘boring old shit that standard radio-listeners put on the jukebox at the pub’ stuff. Bleh You were on the right track with Cold Chisel - have you tried out any The Living End yet? All Torn Down or Prisoner of Society are probably good ones to start with. Also, don’t remember if you’ve done any Divinyls - they have some great stuff. One more for a bit of fun would be Calypso by Spiderbait. :)

@@ellefitzpatrick6339 if it’s just my opinion, then why are you so offended by it? The truth is that the majority of 80’s pop bands from Australia suck ass…and this is coming from someone who’s played these types of songs live many times. To be fair, pub bands are boring turds who always play this kind of shit to keep punters happy as well, so it prolongs the cycle. But there’s so many great (and popular) songs from the same era that get forgotten about because of lazy bands, and lazy listeners…hence my ‘opinion’, because Australia has MUCH more to offer than the Black bloody Crows!
@ellefitzpatrick6339

@@superflea7219 so you think it’s not rude to diss an artist just because you don’t like them? Not your taste? I’m fine with that but saying it’s truth is BS. Oh and it’s the black Sorrows not crows. That’s another band.
