It never ceases to amaze me how much movie and music knowledge Tony the Baker has. I recently re-watched him and Kevonstage play a 6 degrees of separation movie game. It's fascinating how his mind works. I'm sure Tony plays a "Try to stump Tony" game with his peers often, but I'd pay money to watch that game show! Great podcast as always guys! Great show y’all. Just wanted to say about the drugs topic that although you weren’t 100% incorrect Keon, addiction isn’t a mental thing. The reason why you’re able to do something once and walk away is because your body isn’t dependent on it after the first use. Over time your body becomes chemically dependent on the drug and you literally can’t function without it (Withdrawl). This is normally with synthetic drugs like nicotine, cocaine, methamphetamine,etc. People who normally go cold turkey normally compensate their addiction with a more healthy addictive tendency, for example my mom went cold turkey off cigs but was eating peanuts nonstop to the point where you’d look at her kind of funny. But that’s something that can be dropped easily once your body balances itself back out.

Glad to see this was pointed out! While I can definitely agree that a person's mental and emotional health deeply affect their chances of seeking treatment, once any human being has had enough exposure to a drug they're going to find themselves addicted. It's just hardwired into our brain to grow dependent on anything that (more or less) makes us feel good -- especially those synthetic drugs, like you're saying, which completely change the brain's chemistry. It gets to the point where even if you have the desire to quit, your body will still have a violent reaction from the withdrawals.

Also issues that dad's face are as real as it gets. My father left when I was one and I had an alcoholic abusive stepdad so seeing Fathers be present open and vulnerable is amazing. While I've never done coke, and never would, I've witnessed friends using when I was younger and it was bad. You literally see their faces go from normal to vacant almost instantly. It's like their soul is turned off and the person in front of you, no matter how much you trusted them before, turns into someone you can't even feel safe around. Why anyone would do it, I have no idea.
