This is such a wonderful piece of history. I was blessed to grow up in Los Angeles and my mom was a teacher at the school associated with Operation Bootstrap. I often went to the factory and the JJ doll was my favorite. Later, I spent my teenage years at the Smith home and it's great to see Marva being excellent as always ✊🏿

Beautiful. I was born in 1976. The very first doll my parents bought me was the American Indian Shindana Doll. ❤️
