The virtual keyboard can be turned off....... learn the features of the phone before you review?
@ewjomega6 жыл бұрын
She should review it after she knows how to use it. She said her thumbs are sore, I'm using a Passport right now and typing is a breeze because its flick to type. You don't have to press every key. Also you don't have to use the atl key capitalize letters all you have to do is press the letter and hold it down for about half a second and it will be capitalized.
@anthonyyaseyko88026 жыл бұрын
You don't have to click on the shift key to get a capital letter, press and long hold the letter when typing and the phone will give you options or just the capital letter. As for the finger print reader; when creating your profile, move your finger around the scanner - not always the same part of the finger as you never put your finger in the exact place every time you unlock the phone.

This reviewer is terrible...
@slam56 жыл бұрын
i don't think it is that terrible. she probably has to test and review multiple things while she is doing this. think of it, she probably use and iphone/another android phone as her personal phone. to use the k2 fulltime is almost impossible. it took me 2+ months using it ft to learn a fraction of its features.

I wish we could get shortcuts like this on regular phones. I hate app draws an sometimes like a clean home screen.

Can you tell me how the hub integration is? I'm BB Z30 user now I'm using Samsung note 5 and I installed hub in it and I'm completely not satisfied. Whether it will be same in BlackBerry android phones also or not. Please tell me as I'm planning to buy a BlackBerry android phone.
@leswells275 жыл бұрын
I have a BlackBerry keyone and I have the hub on my s7edge and they are the same
@DownMemoryLaneParis6 жыл бұрын
You can disconnect the virtual keyboard totally. As for the thumbs, it will never be as hurting as virtual typing because of the physical resistance. You are just obviously not a typer. IThe Alt and Shift are fabulous way to speedup your typing.

i have zero problem with this fingerprint scanner. see a lot of reviewers saying the same. works first time, every time for me.

An interesting take on this phone. Good perspective. I dont find keyboards frustrating. But I agree they can be tiring.

Where are the features? These were rather complains.

You had a great review as always Jessica. I've owned the KeyOne for just about a year now and from what I've seen from the KeyTwo, while it does look like a slight upgrade, I'll probably stick with the KeyOne because for the price of the KeyTwo it's not really worth that slight upgrade. Call me old school, but I do like the physical QWERTY keyboard. That feature is what got me hooked onto Blackberry in the first place after having an iPhone for a good few years.
@NateFreestyle6 жыл бұрын
Mizzoulord13 I'm with you. Not worth an upgrade from the KEYone until the price drops.

Love my KEYone. Tempted to bite just to show my support for this form factor. Some people DO want it!
@Knightstorm126 жыл бұрын
I thnk its overpriced. I figure between $550 - $580 would make it a more appealing device. It just entered One Plus 6 territory with its pricing and with the number of productivity apps available today it just needs a better price point and if its chipset was that of the 845 then I feel the price point would be justified
@Knightstorm126 жыл бұрын
Sally Smith I concur but its for that reason that because they are using a midrange chipset the Key 2 needs to be at minimum $50-$100 less considering whom they are up against
@Knightstorm126 жыл бұрын
Sally Smith It can but many top midrange devices can do the same with the same chipset but that being said its also up against one of arguably the best flagship killers of that price segment, The One Plus 6. It too handle the similar range of productivity apps that the Key 2 can as well and it sports premium level battery life specs and an ISP68 rating as well. It also offers superior cameras. Its not that I dislike the Key 2 its just over priced for what it offers The question is does Blackberry have the time and money to squander before it can become more than a niche product?
@Knightstorm126 жыл бұрын
Sally Smith True but that being said if they are trying that business model with the Key 2 it seems to be an unwise course. It's more fiscally prudent to market and properly price one's product before tossing it into a playing field with with similarly priced competitors who already have a solid reputation for value, quality and pricing...
@Knightstorm126 жыл бұрын
Sally Smith they are facing stiff competition from the likes of Samsung mid ranges devices, Xiaomi, ZTE, Nokia, Asus as well as Motorola. Now if they are aiming for a core group of people then one see that as a good marketing strategy. If they are aiming for a broader market then that it makes me wonder. I get the whole getting their brand out there again then they are making waves that is for certain...

Decent review from cnet this time
@ibraklay93436 жыл бұрын
How many times you'll need to review that thing. *Cnet and others your reviews a irrelevant* ;blackberry keeps praising its self as a brand that offers security, *we want a review that clearly distingushies black berry security from other brands* we want an in depth review of the keyones security
@Gaudine6 жыл бұрын
edris mateso companies dropped blackberries for iPhones because of security. This is well known now. Android isn't the safest and unless you own a Google phone android becomes lagdroid pretty soon with updates taking 6 months to come to your device.
@ahmedbhaa6 жыл бұрын
Misaki Nope. Iphone is not as secure as this phone. Just a big no. People buy iPhones for their ecosystem not security.
@slam56 жыл бұрын
I couldn't agree you more. I just hope TCL will spend some $$ on hiring a good advertising company who understand the phone and make some ad's that really showcase the features of this phone. This phone is built for the professional who need to have the up to date tools to do their job and yet have time to check up on their family on FB, Twitter, etc. If they have this, they will sell this by the truckload!
@Flyinghotpocket6 жыл бұрын
dam good point about the stupid af android keys. they needed to be actual keys i to often fatfinger on the circle or the back key which shouldnt even happen on a physical keyboard phone. but also the point before that about you not wanting 'go over to the side of the phone to use the alt and shift keys' ????????? WHAT? thats how you use a real keyboard.......................
