Mine has been soaking in a kilner jar for a month and it looks like all the colour and flavour is merging with the syrup and alchohol. I am so pleased with it that I am going to use some our raspberry harvest to do the same thing.

Hello, can I use allulose or other natural low carb alternative sweeteners instead of sugar?

I always use beet sugar. I am not sure if those alternatives have some chemical reaction with alcohol. I will search about it. Sorry about being late for the answer, I am on a trip nowadays:)
