I actually like it the way it is. Personally I have the Blackberry Passport Silver Edition and it also has the same design rounded bottom corners plus 90deg top which I hardly notice. Though I do enjoy that it is a feature this gives it a different look than many bars that we see. I think also from having the Passport SE having the corners at the top make for a better holding when two handed typing (index fingers holding corners at top). Also feels more secure when just perhaps holding phone in hand fingers touching corners and wrapped around. I just had to pick up my Passport now to figure some of these out which I instinctively do...So for that reason having the Passport SE I think the ergonomics of this rounded bottom/angled top makes more sense as a daily handling than a visual.

Lovely... I just love real keyboards haha. I wish to see someday see another landscape slider someday... The Samsung Captivate Glide still has the best keyboard I've ever used on a phone (and the HTC Touch Pro 2)

i love my passport, and can't wait for the Mercury - the idea I have Android on the BB phone is great, I had to side load on the passport and not all functions work well on the patch, Day 1 on Mercury im buying it, but I heard January release, but now February?

I love the squared design and the beautiful back but I would never buy a phone that took up valuable screen real estate with a tiny keyboard despite the fact that I am a female with relatively smaller hands. Between things like this and specs that are a few years behind other flagships, BlackBerry doesn't seem to be trying very hard OR those making decisions about the type of phone produced are essentially clueless.
