This band keeps getting better and better. You can see how the constant touring has made these guys so tight musically. Truly an outstanding band. I saw them in 2007 in Dallas and was completely blown away. Rarely has an opening act ever gotten me out of my seat. Blackberry Smoke is truly a rarity these days, a band that can play comfortably in many different styles. There are some truly great songs on this album. Just a warm and natural sound. THE WHIPPOORWILL. Order a copy if you can.

An excellent band, top of the line bluesy goodness. Yea, it is reminiscent of a many influences, no doubt. Most notably is this mans ability to sing like hell, a great voice, captivating, unique. Just like the folks I grew up listening to.
