my man is in luna. respect. im switching permanently over from logic. i've had to get used to the idea of producing in luna and earlier on it wasnt fully built for that but they've integrated more tools to help the producers

I friggin love this plug. It doesn’t sound like garbage when you push it. That’s where i feel most modeled plug-ins show their hand. You can crank the high band all the way and it doesn’t just destroy it.

TOTALLY! couldn’t have said it better myself. It really is the best model out there for the 73.. I love UA’s api .. it sounds really pleasing similarly, the eq might not hold up all too well when totally ripped. And the ssl model is pretty good too. Never liked the neve stuff.

Oooo. Idk. I truly think this is the best sounding 1073 out there. The UAD is great for the unison thing, but I even almost think this is better than that.

you just recently jumped on the UA platform with an Apollo, Sphere DLX and a whole bunch of plugins. their 1073 is good too. My go-to for the past years has been Acustica Audio's Gold 5 (their Neve collection), which has a 1073. but for tracking I still use my hardware @@TheSteveKinney

Is it me or did you not enable the eq section of this eq plugin for the duration of this review?

Briefly did towards the middle. Eq is largely just curves, and you can recreate neve style curves with fab filter .. So I kinda didn’t really see it as that important. But I did do some comparisons
