Any question about Bonnie’s supremacy as a Rock/Blues vocalist will be put to bed by this vid. My favorite band of hers and her nuanced, effortless singing on display here certainly never more masterful. And a sneaky great guitarist on top of it. This is a treasure.

Heard (and owned) all this on LPs all those years ago. There were so few bands built around a woman, which is really a testament to her talent. Seeing folks like these play live or on "video" didn't come often. So much fun to see Bonnie and bassist Freebo on stage. Brings it all back.

There is the Bonnie I love. She sings this faster in some shows. I have seen Her more than any other person. Except Greg & the Allmans . I lived in Mempis for over 40 yrs. She played there alot. At Memphis in May one year, a 3 day festival on the banks of the MS river, she played her set on her stage. The Doobie Bros. played on the second stage, I think it was them. She joined them , Broke it down. Then it was time for Jimmy Vaughn and the Fabulous Thunderbirds. She joined them. Any way, it was three stages, she played them all and kicked ass. All of them ended on the last stage and it was fantastic. Thanks Bonnie. Red Rocks was pretty great in '80 too. There was the ones with you and Jackson, Ann Peebles was great. Kebmo, etc. You have always been my sisters and I hero. Girl, you are just a badass. Always have been, always will be. Lol. I sure hated about John Prine this yr. I got a t shirt at the Helena AK Blues fest one yr. It said "life is the blues". That about says it all... Hope you are doing well. Love ya, peace.
