Little Rock PD and Troopers chased this Dodge Charger multiple times during the early morning hours of June 30th. The driver would "black out" and take city streets at high speeds. He continued jumping on and off the Little Rock Interstates. Troopers circulated the area until locating the vehicle. Speeds reached 150+ miles per hour.
The driver was reported to be Toribio Ruiz.

This may be true, but the worst-one we have in the Bootheel-troop E of Missouri? You gotta address him as "Mr. A$$hole", because the first-four letters on his plates are "MSHP", with a lil'-bitty short UHF-repeater antennae on top, for the much too late giveaway. Gotta admit, he knows how to handle it, and it looks like Santa Claus has came, when those hidden lights in front, rear, and of course, sides, all strobe-up like it's a Christmas time practice run, LOL! And it's surprisingly quiet. Well, except for a sweet-"cackle" of the pipes, accenting that jet-blast as he pulls the wings back and lifts-off past you, LOL!😄

Simple response - ain't no Dodge that can outrun Motorola! Either they're gonna' get 'ya or you're gonna' screw up. Seriously - the kid was doing some 'good' driving - but he wasn't concerned about anybody else. The cops, on the othe hand, had to worry about 'general traffic' and what they were going to do with a fast approaching police car closing in on them. Bottom line - the odds were against to felon..................................

Pointless comment. There's plenty of car enthusiasts that has good amount of track and autocross time. It's not just cops that can drive a car fast, we just prefer to drive fast at sanctioned events. I'm sure most track day enthusiast or SCCA/NASA weekend racers can out drive any cop out there. Also the suspect car had front end damage, as stated right at the beginning of the chase. Could be damaged radiator, oil cooler, for him to give up. Also sparks are flying from his front wheels, flat or brakes grinding.

I went to a high school where parents gave their trophy sons cars like this. I'll never forget the one day a young idiot left the school parking lot with his car full of friends, floored it, did a 360 and crashed. I drove by in my Toyota Tercel and saw him sitting on the curb, crying his eyes out like a baby. Daddy took his car away after he had it for one day.

Kudos in general to the maintenance program of the ASP. Not the body & repair program, which is also worthy, but the day to day maintenance crew. To be able to drive speeds approaching 150 mph, the vehicle has to be extremely sound. There's a slight difference between Crossland & Davis cruisers that is identifiable in the vibration of their dashcams. Perhaps Crossland has had a recent bit of minor damage. It doesn't take much at 130 mph to cause instability. Could be as simple as a tire slightly out of balance. That the ASP maintenance team regularly puts cruisers on the road capable to safely travel such speeds is a strong testament to their work quality.

This is why Tre Davis was the better pursuit vehicle at speed. Crossland either had another recent traffic kerfuffle that was minor. Thing is, nothing is minor at 130-145 mph. The difference in stability between the two cruisers is visible in the camera vibration. I thought Crossland might've been driving an suv the way his shook at bridge abutments.
