Blackened Salmon With HOMEMADE CAJUN SEASONING

Homemade Cajun seasoning makes this blackened salmon extra special. If you like Cajun food then you will love this recipe.
INGREDIENTS
2 tablespoons paprika
2 tablespoons garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
2 teaspoons course ground black pepper
1 teaspoon dried thyme
2 tablespoons oregano
1-1/2 tablespoons kosher salt
NOTE: Vary salt content as needed for personal taste or if reducing sodium in your diet.
Keep the remaining spice mix in a jar for future recipes.

Hey Dave this is a great idea to make your own. I can't stand the amount of salt in the store bought. Even when I was a chef we always made our own spice mixes. Looks great, now I'm hungry.
