From memory... weaknesses of the original Blackfoot were the plastic dogbones, the trailing arm pivots, and the body mount posts... .Oh also the plantery gear diff wasn't as nice as say back when I wanted so bad the THORPE ball differential upgrade for the Blackfoot.

Good stuff! enjoy man. True, there was nothing like building a Tamiya kit no matter what RC of choice. 90's was a great time for me and rc. Thumbs up

This is what the hobby is and should be about...Fun. Not about who's truck or buggy is better, not about this racing competition nonsense, expensive upgrades and such. I use to own a Subaru brat and man that thing was fun to built and bash. I can only imagine this big boy being better. Nice unboxing.

I recently inherited two original Blackfoot kits, the Subaru Brat and a buggy kit, brand new in boxes. Can't wait to build at least one of them. I have a 6-10A brushless ESC I'll be able to put in.

AWESOME PRESENTATION DARCY👍👍👌 have fun and enjoy. I wish I was as fortunate as you but I got some pretty messed up parents and they never respected me having a hobby.i got abused and punished and even kicked out of home plus run away too because my parents are like Nazis. To them I RC car is enough and when I went out on my own as a teenager and bought my own cars then built them in my bedroom I was suspected and accused of using drugs. My parents even had my bedroom searched by cops. Finally I snapped and punched my Dad and he fell and hit his head and started bleeding. I ended up getting arrested and now got assault charges and possibly facing jail. My parents are really psychiatrically f#&ked in the head. Enjoy man you are a lucky guy. The Tamiya Blackfoot is one of my favourite Tamiya RC cars too. Enjoy man.

Does the rerelease Blackfoot come with bearings?
@stoves923 жыл бұрын
It does not. Ordered one yesterday. Ordered an aftermarket bearing set for it.

is everything plastic? I'd figured it would have a metal frame and suspension parts. i normally fly aircraft, but this looks like you can't get very rough with it like Roman Atwood did with his on shaycarl's blog last night.

What does he mean when he speaks of “brushes”?
@ethanistheman14343 жыл бұрын
If you mean when he says brushed motor brushed has less power than brushless motor
