Cactus: just remove that pin detent with your grinder and you’ll have a very useable breaker bar. Have a great weekend everyone!

It's a pin detent... that's the patent..ball bearing on one side...pin detent on the other.... For something like that it would be a tool that pretty much gets constant use and you would rarely if ever, change the socket... you would just do the same work every time

Id take this thing in a heartbeat because i think youd have to put the socket on at a angle which is fine with me 👍

Well, in the event of a home invasion, you'll have something decent to reach for.

Any t-handles out there that have a socket square on one of the pole-ends?
@drive-channel18342 жыл бұрын
That's usually available in a "L-Handle" style breaker bar. Both ends of the bar have square drives. I've never seen sliding T-Handle with square on the bar. And you won't be able to swap the bars, coz L-Handle breaker bars always have larger diameter than sliding T-Handle's bars.

Those pins do really suck. Such a pain to work with
@drive-channel18342 жыл бұрын
Yup. I'd happily grind down that pesky detent pin and continue using it like many other regular single ball-detent T-Handles

Interesting how the guy is trying to review a tool that he has never used before... How about you test the thing out for a while before you think u can make a vid on something?

Thanks for the feedback with items like 3/4 inch T handlebars they either break or they don't what else is there to review maybe the ball retention bearings not falling out. As with this unit I didn't need to use it to see how well it performs under heavy use.

Sliding t-handle isn't a new thing at all, nor is it of a complicated design whatsoever, there's no need to test this particular sample, it's been tested. Heavily . That's very clear. And Catus does have tons and tons and tons of sliding t-handles and extremely familiar with that type of tool. And Catus does have a cat too, that's actually the main point and that's why I love this channel 😻😻😻 😄😄😄

I'd rather suggest : Grind down that Thing, Flat, get rid of the obstruction (the detent pin)
