Dungeons & Degenerate Gamblers Part 3 - you can never escape the trap card. Blackjack but better is always a great time, this time I'm trying out the clubs deck, where blackjacks let you deal bonus damage to the opponent. Little do I know that I'm about to reach absolutely wild damage numbers!

to anyone who is wondering, the trap card is magical cylinder, because whenever your opponent would deal you damage in yugioh, magical cylinder negates that damage, and inflicts equal damage to the opponent. also, that effect only counts the player as the person who is in control of the card

Close, but Dimension Wall is a better fit. Magic Cylinder negates the attack and does full damage equal to the opposing monster's attack to them, regardless of your own monster's attack. Dimension Wall still has the attack go through so anything that happens normally still happens (like the hearts blackjack healing), but the opponent takes the battle damage (calculated from both players monsters/cards).

Hey Tyler, idk if you found it yet, but I recall on a Balatro video, you were looking for the card that groups cards in blacks and reds. The card is the Smeared Joker, and it’s a Rare Joker.

It's been a while since i played this but, if I remember correctly, the deckromancers grave cards can be clicked to change their value even if its your opponents card.

At 13:38, when you had the Trump Card in hand and managed to Break Limits to break up Alucard's 21 and bust him, you could have played the Trump Card, given yourself blackjack of which 16 of the points were in Clubs, which would do 37 damage and end the fight there. Because the fight ends before the discard/burn, the Trump Card would not be permanently removed from your deck (which is moot because that's the last round of the demo, but mainly so you don't do that in the future in situations where you can get a free earlier win!)

You can click the graves of the Deckromancer to reduce the values. It goes from 6-10 on play to 1-5 on click. Edit: The Dis-Card card would be really powerful with the Trump Card. Get 21, then discard it without perma burning it.

So for the standing at 17 thing. In Blackjack casino rules, the dealer is not allowed to stand below 17. I think your opponents' actions in the game is based on this rule

I think one facet that is going unmentioned/unappreciated in the videos so far is that when you have negative cards you DO NOT want blackjack. 20 is great, 21 is not, because we can see the negative diamonds eat Tyler's chips and the negative clubs ruin his damage whenever he hits blackjack with it instead of 20 or less.

Best run I have had in this game was a negative card build with traps. If you have - 20 and your opponent has 20, that's a difference of 40 so the trap does a HUGE hit
