Without a doubt one of the most incredible guitarist in the world today. Blackmore has had one hell of a career and I must say that Blackmore's Night has to be one of the best group of musicians he has ever put together. Beautiful music.

The best thing is how Ritchie incorporates subtle (and not so subtle) comedy into a virtuosic solo piece. The rabbit, the "angry" looks at his fellow players (sending up his own moody reputation). The great thing about Blackmore's Night is how he totally embraces the ridiculous side of the whole endeavour while also producing excellent unconventional music. He really must have a great sense of humour.

I love how when he is playing his facial expressions feel like he's feeling the guitar and just playing, but he does it so well it's almost frightening! Ritchie Blackmore, a true guitar player, this man knew how to play a guitar

Blackmore outclass everyone, a true virtuoso with no competition. He can play the heaviest of metal or the most delicate baroque classics with the same good taste and personal signature sound. The only missing detail is a live burning witch and a few loose goats on stage. Dear Ritchie please fix that other wise you are perfect.

Ritchie's tribute to his friend and Co founder of Deep Purple. Purple at it's soul was about Lord and Blackmore from Shades of Deep Purple in 1968 to the Battle Rages on in 1993. Go back and listen to any of the Mach 1 albums from the 1960s especially the third album simply called Deep Purple. Amazing musical partnership.
