Captain America Brave New World - February 14, 2025: Anthony Mackie returns as the high-flying hero Sam Wilson, who’s officially taken up the mantle of Captain America. After meeting with newly elected U.S. President Thaddeus Ross, Sam finds himself in the middle of an international incident. Seeing Sam break the sound barrier made me go "Whoa!" Seeing Isaiah seemingly brainwashing makes me sad. He's been through so much. I'm looking forward to more Gamma monsters and Super Soldiers. This feels like a Captain America: Winter Soldier sequel, in a very good way.

Reshoots alone do not mean that the film will be bad. Rogue One had reshoots, it's solid. Thor: Ragnarok had reshoots -- infamously changing the location of one scene -- and it's still the best Thor film. Not just with modern MCU films either. Little Shop of Horrors reshot its ending after test screenings rated the original ending too much of a downer. That movie is still a classic.

People these days love hearing 'reshoots' and immediately jump to assuming it will be worse, JUST because of a few movies. I'm sure if you look at the top 100 grossing movies ever made, a good portion of them will have at least a few reshoots

If Isaiah Bradley is there, then maybe we're getting an adaptation of Truth: Red, White, and Black. Which would explain why Isaiah goes after Harrison Ford. But I'm also wondering if they're going to do a guest cameo with Mark Ruffalo Hulk because Red Hulk is there. Have them fight it out for a while on and off screen. But mostly, I really hope that they really get into Isaiah's backstory for this. Maybe even bring back Eli Bradley and bring in Josiah X as well. It would be worth any of the usual "chatter" when it comes to subjects like this.

I just wish Bucky was in this. They did a 6 episode miniseries establishing Sam and Bucky as a team, to the point that Bucky is basically part of Sam's family in the last episode. Not sure whose idea ot was to split them up, but it's boneheaded. Mackie and Stan's chemistry is great. Oh well.

I don't see the reveal of Red Hulk as desperation. I believe it is exact the same as Captain America: Civil War's reveal of Spider-Man at the end of that trailer. I heard the reshoots were to give the film a more Jason Bourne feel.

The comment by Sam about how Ross looks different now makes me think of that episode of Fresh Prince after Aunt Viv's actress was replaced and Jazz says "There's something different about you." while Will looks awkwardly at the camera.

I agree with the reshoots that maybe need improving in one area in order to be instrugue and compelling like CA: Winter Soldier. Plus, it's reminded of Daredevil Born Again, which has a creative overhaul last year to 2024 with the team decision to have the Neflix aesthetic and mature content attachment to their television instead.

I love it! I am so excited for this movie, I couldn't wait to see Sam fully as Captain America saving the world. I also couldn't wait to see what they were going to do with the Red Hulk and Harrison Ford. I do hope that this isn't the last we're going to see of the Red Hulk though, because Harrison Ford is 82 years old, and I think he's pushing it a bit. But yeah I'm all for this and can't wait to see it in February.

There's nothing in this trailer that doesn't make me think: Sam Wilson is gonna have to get the Cap serum, because there's just no physical way he can survive Hulk, Abomination or just the average super strength villain that Cap would face. I still think of Black Widow when Bruce turned in The Avengers- she had to book it because Hulk was on a rampage.
