DURING THE HOTTEST PARTS OF THE DAY ITS BEST TO STOP AND REST AND NOT STRESS YOURSELF. THE PROBLEM IS EVEN THO YOUR UNDER TREES THE HEAT FROM SOLAR RADIATION CAN KEEP YOU WAY TO HOT.. THE PROBLEM COMES FRO MTHE FACT MOST TARPS DO NOT COME WITH A HIGH UL RATING AND SO THEY STOP VERY LITTLE UV RADIATION.MY ANSWER TO THIS PROBLEM IS TO REFLECT AS MUCH OF THE UV AS I CAN AND FOR THAT I LIKE TO USE A MYLAR SPACE BLANKET OR IF WEIGHT IS NOT A PROBLEM AS I USE IN THIS VIDEO A REUSABLE SPACE BLANKET. WHEN THE SHINNY SIDE IS LEFT ON TOP IT HELPS BLOCK THE HARMFUL U V RADIATION AND THEU HELPS TO STAY COOLER DURNING MID DAY TEMPS.

Cool little trick for the ants... Tie a drier sheet just before the strap connects to your hammock and they wont cross

Another informative demonstration video. Those reusable space blankets seem to be pretty handy items to carry along. I’ve always used my military poncho for a fly tarp over my hammock sleep system. The space blanket seems to have the advantage of thermo regulation to help keep you warmer or cooler depending on the weather conditions. Which reusable space blanket do you recommend? Hey Blackie, Here's a strange thought. What if you take the guyline and instead of the bowline put one of those toggles you made in another video and make a big knot that way you have a similar guyline where you make a bite and stick the toggle thru the bite. Sort of like the old guylines with the knotted toggle.

next summer, i will carry a 3x3 camouflage netting instead of a 3x3 tarp as shading over my Hammock or maybe both together. okay the tarp keeps the sun away a little, but underneath it felt like i'm in a oven, when there is no wind.

I am a new subscriber, I did not know how to reach you so I am trying this I have a new pair of Uberti 1851 colts 3 days old one I got from taylor and one form Dixie GW the one from Dixie goes through 4 stages of the action (Clicks) the one form Taylor only 3 in fact the trigger does not start to move till you get just about to half cock.the gun does go into half cock and you can turn the cylinder. and the hammer does go to full cock but only in three stages. Both guns are unfired, What is your expect option. Thanks Bob a new fan

both should be fine the 4th click is cyl bolt locking into place yours may be riding up a fraction sooner and riding into place instead of the click as long as everything is locking up well you should be fine a detail strip of all parts and may get that 4th click often packing grease slows things down a bit
