*"SBS"* is the largest musical television channel in south korea, and *"PARTY PEOPLE"* is the name of the show, personally i like this version more than the original, since this is more harmonic and is better achieved, although it is obviously a matter of personal taste. *FACT:* jisoo is the only one who does not speak English, and yet she sings it perfectly, that is admirable

Lisa and Jennie added their own bars at the end btw. Party People was a music/talk show hosted by the CEO of another K-Pop company, JYP (you can see him getting into it during the song) He was the host and the show was taped at his nightclub, they served alcohol during filming!

@@edc3805 Jennie has stated in an interview that during training they were responsible for their own monthly presentations in which they had to come up with the song, dance, background music, etc. This was one of those presentations, YG was present for their performance and praised them for it. @@edc3805 No, I took the fact that the performance was the the same one that they had performed during training when they were required to create their own performances without outside help. For that reason it's inferred that the extra lines must have been written by them, as they weren't allowed to use outside help. I understand what you mean though. People have also said that Jennie wrote STAY, which was written by Teddy Park, and SOLO, (Jennie herself said that she wrote SOLO but the song is credited to Teddy and 24). I think Jennie may have contributed but not to the extent that she would be considered a co-writer. Many of the things we hear are assumptions by fans who want to believe something so they read a posting that fits their fantasy and call it truth because someone else posted it. At the end of the day it's what you choose to believe, I'm sure the real picture is much different than any of us believe.

@@edc3805 haha, thank you, I'll admit that my first response to someone questioning my comments is to get defensive, but I myself question things and sometimes I "take a step back" and go meta, looking at BLACKPINK from an observers viewpoint rather than a BLINKs. In all honesty I see a different version of Jennie Kim than most others, but it's something that I won't discuss, as it's only my personal assumption based on things she's said and things that we know. Some things are better left unsaid.

SBS Party People is a musical variety show whose host is the owner of a rival entertainment company (Blackpink is under YG Entertainment; the host (the one in the white shirt bopping to the beat) is JYP, who is the owner of JYP Entertainment-a rival to YG). Ok, nice reaction but to be honest you can’t really appreciate how much they killed without knowing the original. I always tell people if they’re going to react to this they should at least listen to the original first. The reason for this is even die hard fans of Miguel have said this was more Blackpink’s song than his. No offense to Miguel...he wrote an awesome song but the girls slayed it.

The end part was all them. The original does suck in comparison. They also danced to “partition” on the same show (Jyps party people) Conan O’Brien and Stephen yun from walking dead did a song with JYP (it’s F’ed up). Jennie and rosé speak 3 languages, Jisoo speaks 4 languages and Lalisa speaks 5 languages. The entire concert at Tokyo dome was amazing! All in Japanese,English and Korean. I highly recommend it.👍 also Blackpink 24/365 show is on their YT channel. They are too cute.
