I can remember visiting Blackpool in January a few years ago the sea and weather was terrible a man fell into the sea sadly he drowned sad

Thanks for the video~ i hope that jogger was ok. Why on earth was he jogging down there in bad wind Doesnt he realise that hes putting not only his life in danger but others who need to rescue him

I haven't a clue it did worry me the man further down came and spoke to me then we spoke to the workman doing work next to us and then by that time hopefully he was gone through the other side, the waves were pretty fierce under the pier at that time I don't think he was a jogger though x

Reminds me of the story my dad said. He was with his first wife both very drunk walking past central peir large wave came over wall covering them both who both sobared up rarther quickly lol

Awesome Katie. I'm so jealous. I always have to clean my specs every 2 mins when standing next to an angry sea. The salt plays havoc with lenses. I hope that lad is ok. xx

Yes unfortunately a chunk of my footage was not useable due to the lens being covered in sand I hope he is okay I am hoping and assuming that he just came out the other side

Next time take the ironing board for a bit of surf action footage!! When I worked on the pier It used to sway a bit with strong waves. And the waves used to break onto the prom, but since the new defences, It doesn't seem to happen anymore. x

Katie,you need some fingerless gloves. They do help keep hands warm, but fingers are free to push buttons, etc.l got mine from B+M, and its easier to get in my purse when shopping, no nerd, to take them off and loose them 😂
