On today's autism family vlog: it's day two of our holiday in Blackpool (thanks to Premier Inn who have sponsored this series of videos). This is the first time ever Andy has had a full day on vacation, waking up and going to sleep in the same hotel. We weren't sure how he'd cope with it, but packed the day full of stuff we knew he'd love, including the Blackpool Tower, a ride on the trams and lots and lots of arcades, including Coral Island. We also needed an emergency clothes shop in Primark because it was too cold for our summer clothes, and we finished the day off by meeting some of you awesome people!

ABOUT KEVIN CHAPMAN
Hi, I'm Kevin Chapman, a full-time KZbinr, author, podcaster, speaker and occasional teacher from Peterborough, UK. As part of my daily vlog I release new videos every day at 5pm UK time with topics including life as an autism family, conventions and geek culture, technology, education and tutorials and entrepreneurship.
When I left my full-time as a Computer Science teacher in July 2017, my partner, Anna, was trapped in our house by our son Andy, who is autistic and had refused to go to school for 18 months. Our daughters Lucy and Amy and our dog Dave hardly saw me because I was always working to try and solve all our problems! Today I'm a full-time content creator who's always at home when my kids get home from school (all our kids!) and Anna has been able to return to university. This channel is the story of my family's ongoing journey! Previously known as lollujo Vlogs.

It's so exciting to see your vacation in Blackpool! I am similar with things I wear in that I do not like things covering my neck. Even button down shirts must be unbuttoned enough during my work that I feel I can breathe properly! Otherwise I get terribly uncomfortable and get a lump in my throat where I feel I cannot breathe as well with it being covered! It was so much fun to see what a great time all of you had! Anna and Andy on that Ferris wheel was so great! I love how calm he was when in reality I would have been just as terrified as Anna!

Oh gosh, the wheel. It’s always been a tradition that me and my mum go in the wheel and then have fish and chips. My mum doesn’t like the wheel but I do I must say it’s quite rusty. Aha 😂😂

Coral island is the largest amusement arcade in the uk there is nothing bigger, and that tune in the bingo if you want to get it for your self is called the clap clap song and its by the klaxons, if you cannot find it i have it so can help you out if you want it then you can have non stop dancing

If you visit the premier in again, You should get off the tram at the Bispham stop, walk down red bank road and then turn left and you'd be at the Premier Inn 🌼

I went with my baby a couple years ago and she was screaming the place down , they let us skip the photo bit and we went straight to the lift to go up the tower (they also let us go back in the 4d later with the next group.) my daughter was only 4 months and she loved the glass floor
