There has been some really good bands coming out the south and heard on alternative stations. One I really like outside of BP is Saint Paul and the Broken Bones. They do a blues, old school jazzy sound and it is great. While top 40 keeps sinking in garbage of auto tune and computerized fake music alternative has been doing some really interesting stuff with Black Pumas as the most exciting and head of the pack. I consider the music underground since it is underground, renegade stuff from the awful crap being pushed these days. Also check out Austin City Limits for some new acts that are serious.
