Very nice drifts! I could tell immediately that was H13... So awfully hard to forge.

Thanks man, H13 is my go to for drifts, unless its a one off, then maybe 4140 till it galls too bad.

Wowers how did you keep your shop so clean. Very nice to see it so clean. Always great to see you at work. Always great to see and learning from your videos and other great smiths around. By cleaning everyday when finished working. And putting things back where they belong. Having a large enough work space helps a lot also

Thanks, I clean the shop at the end of every project. While filming, I make sure every shot is organized/clean background. If I'm showing the World my shop and work, then it needs to be presentable.

Just understood how the tool “flat one side crowned on the other” works. Used when flattening non parallel surfaces.

Hi, I'm using these for a hatchet. They push open the eye for the handle to fit. I'll film the process soon.

No, what I try to show is the idea of the tooling I make. That way you can make it your own. *and not copy my work.
