Other than the headphone aux issue, DEBUT 15E is bang for the buck.

a simple explanation, Blackstar Debut is newer and it's only a Solid State. Id Core has been out awhile and is a digital modeling amp with built in effects, it competes with the Fender Mustang LT25. there both good starter amps.

I'm planning on getting the same amp. Just wanted to ask your review of it. How is it with backing tracks, is it good enough for quiet practice and jamming sessions? I'm planning on playing mostly rock, punk, alt rock and some metal. Do you think it's good for that? Does the headphone jack work fine?

Everybody was loving the Debut simply because it's inexpensive. But then they ran into the headphone and speaker issues.
