As far as nail art is concerned, I use core acrylic powders, colored acrylic powders, gel, gel polish and regular polish. For eyelash extensions, I show you techniques on classic and volume lashes to help you along your lash journey. I try to stay ahead of nail trends with acrylic nails designs and 3d acrylic nail art and try to make my content as consumable as possible.

Oh what a great idea Helen I do have one question though...actually two questions lol...1st is I wear Polygel not Acrylic would I be able to order and second what's an approximate price...I'm gathering there would be a starting price then additions depending on what we asked for ?...thankyou for sharing 💜💅💜

To wear press ons you'll need to remove your polygel first so the press on can fit snug directly onto your nail. That way they'll also last better. And prices start from $30AUD and can range all the way to $200AUD. The starting price is a press on kit with one plain colour and one accent colour (optional), the tips do not have acrylic or gel on them, so there will be some flexibility with those. Of course you could add acrylic or gel on top, but that alters the price also. This is the weirdest thing ever !!! Last night I put a poll out on my insta asking my clients etc if they’d be interested in press on’s. So anyway they pretty much all said yes. So before bed I searched for a video on how to do all the measuring etc......then I wake up and you have one 😂🙈 😘

This is so helpful cuz I been googling how to measure for my press on nails without them sticking to my nails before I’m ready lol that’s how I used to measure by just holding the press on over my natural nails to see which ones fit and then using nail glue but the ones I bought already have adhesive on them so you don’t need glue lol

What happens if a client’s nail size is a half size? Like 11.3mm? Do you file a nail tip to accommodate for this size?

do i have to measure with the zero inside the lines even if i’m using a thin pencil?

If your pencil is extremely thin, then you can measure on the line. But most markers are thick, even the thinnest ones, which in that case it's best to try and get the zero to just touch the line. This will be your starting point. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching my lovely ❤ 🥰

Does anyone know where to find press on nails smaller than size 9? I have narrow nail beds and it looks like everything is 0-9 or 00-9.

Unfortunately these are the standard sizes. Have you considered filing down the side edges of the tip to make it more narrow to fit you better? Do you feel that could work for you?

@@Bubbles-n-Bitches thanks so much for the quick reply! Dang, no one makes extended sizes? No, it doesn’t work unfortunately. I have tried it before but I have to remove so much from the sides that the nails become flat and don’t adhere well and bend badly because they aren’t strong anymore from having a bit of c-curve.

Oh that's such a shame! You're next option would be to have a nail tech apply freedom liquid on your natural nails, then custom sculpt extension directly onto your nails, and with the freedom liquid underneath, you can pop off the acrylic extensions relatively easily, and use them as press ons. But I'm not too sure if many nail techs will be willing to do this or even aware if this technique. If I think of anything else, or if I find another solution for you, I'll definitely let you know!

Hi. What if your measurement is between sizes. I have to convert from inches bc of my ruler. If when converted I get measurements like 13.49mm or 15.88mm, should I be rounding to 13mm/14mm or 14mm/16mm?

That's a tricky one because every millimetre counts when it comes to press on nails. Half a millimetre can make the difference of your press ons being too big or too small. I suppose you can try rounding down if your conversion comes in under a .5 and round up if it comes in at over .5 So ill use your measurements you gave me for an example: I would round down 13.49mm to 13 and round up the 15.88mm to 16mm Does this help somewhat?
