Do you want this to be an on-going series on the channel? And if yes what's the next type of game I should create? 🔥

love the idea! Definitly make it a series. Also the one you made in just an hour is absolutely insane for the time constraint
@NaudVanDalen2 жыл бұрын
Absolutely insane. You got enemies to collide with each other within 10 minutes including everything else. That alone took me hours. The 1 hour version would take me like 2 days. The 1 day version would take me like 3 months. Multiple custom hand drawn creative enemies while I spent a month on a slime and a bat that I didn't even draw myself. Instead I followed a tutorial and still ended up with less in multiple weeks. Even including all the extra things I programmed in even more weeks.

It just shows the difference in how much experience he’s had versus you. He’s probably been a developer longer than you so of course he knows more than you, eventually you’ll be able to do the same thing as him and probably even better if you keep working at it!

@@aarondcmedia9585 this. exactly this. this is also why people shouldn't think designs and art aren't worth X price just because it was done quickly. I made my channel logo in like 5 minutes but I have 7 years of photoshop experience behind it.

just adding some post processing isn't polish

@@Hietakissa but the game do look much nicer than before. And in just 10 minutes for a game like that is really good
@Hietakissa2 жыл бұрын
@@kanethedev it certainly looks better with the post processing, but the amount of "polish" isn't impressive, anyone can tick a couple of checkboxes to enable some simple post processing

Great idea for a series! Loved this one. My suggestion: RTS. Massively under-served genre that I think a lot of devs have trouble noodling around because it's kinda rigid. I'd love to see you guys' take on that. Thanks again :)
