To everyone complaining about the hooks, this is standard practice for smaller billfish like Sailfish, Striped Marlin and White Marlin on sport fishing vessels 👍
@thiccOWL3 жыл бұрын
does not make it ok? no reason why an attempt to dehook all billfish (especially smaller ones) should not be made. sorry but this is just lazy, still loved the vid, just take 30 secs to try dehook the fish for real though. theres no way none of those fish get tangled in leader after cut or have difficulty eating, i know most are fine but to say it does not happen is ignorant.

@@thiccOWL A circle hook in the corner of the mouth does nothing to them compared to boating a fish and removing the hook. If you are a fisherman than you would know when you catch a mackerel for bait and let it touch the deck 9 times out of 10 they die in the tank. Stop hating 😒

I'm all for a once in a lifetime fishing experience but I kinda frown on leaving hundreds of marlin dragging 20-30ft of leader around and yeah I know the hook rusts out in a year or so, definitely would rather catch 1/3 less knowing the attempt to remove the hooks was involved, cool vid either way, different strokes for diff fokes I guess...

That guy is awesome. There are so many people that donate money to Veteran's associations, and that is amazing and honestly I think that anyonne who served in the armed forces for 6 or more years and did at least 1 deployment should NEVER have to work again for financial reasons but only if they want to work. This guy not only is donating money, but he is donating the experience of a lifetime, so he deserves a round of applause and our gratitude for helping give back to our Veterans. If i wasn't over the hill, I think i would go enlist just for a shot to go fishing on that boat, with Anthony and his crew.
