@imCazzy It is a misunderstanding of systematic vs individual racism. Black people cannot be systemically racist because blacks do not control wealth or the power structure. Whereas, whites can be individually racist, and they also benefit from systematic racism. This is where black folks have a misunderstanding. They can be individually racist, just not systematically racist.

Black people can be bigoted. Black people can be prejudice. But not racist. Racism is a power structure that has the ability to suppress an entire group of people. Black people in America do not have the power to do so. Black people can name call and say all types of ignorant things about others, but do not have the power to subjugate an entire race of people. Give me a time in American history where Black people had the power to suppress another group of people? Colonize whole countries and force their will upon them? It takes power to do so, which Black people just do not have. That’s the definition of race-ism.

@@vitigaymer1053 So true. Indian, Korean, Chinese, Asians, everybody is racist against somebody. You can randomly name a country and Google "Racism in Blank" and there will be a report on who those people hate. Mostly people close to them who are just like them. Serbs and Croats. Irish Catholics and Protestants. English and Scotts. On and on. Heck, the big hit movie Black Panther was all about African superiority dating back centuries and racism against whites. Not even subtle about it. I had a native Hawaiian girlfriend who was a beautiful Hawaiian Tropic modal. Asians viewed her as a "poor boat girl" because she was tan - which is a big deal in Hawaii. Yet the other Asians saw being tan as being a poor rural uneducated country girl in their countries, and the city girls all hid from the sun to look lighter. Crazy humans.

It started when Dawn Stanley starting five entered the draft which is the reason a lot of people started back watching. "it's important for me to speak up for people who look like me" (even if that means lying about Caitlin Clark.) she should be embarrassed. I hope CC absolutely kills it in the WNBA.

Yeah, but we can definitely be Bigots - a person who is obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices; especially: one who regards or treats the members of a group (such as a racial or ethnic group) with hatred and intolerance.

I have never watched a female basketball game until I accidentally saw Iowa Team. Anyone shooting a three pointer from way out there like Caitlyn, is amazing to watch. Caitlyn didn’t set the rules for recognition in College basketball, so don’t rage on her. They don’t even pay attention to what she says about the WNBA. Caitlyn hero’s are the women of the WNBA. She always talks about how amazing the players are in the WNBA and it was her dream to be able to play with all of these women. Besides wanting to be a better basketball player, her goal is to make a difference for her team, and get more people and children to watch and play basketball. Angel Reese is another person that gets hated on. I love watching her play. Angel is amazing. Maybe they don’t like her because she is not going to let someone walk all over her on the court. Maybe because she’s beautiful. Who knows. Just remember you are in charge of your own legacy. Do you want to be remembered as a person who helped the WNBA become the top sport for women or a person who was negative and brought it down. ❤
